I investigated the real-life location of AO

First off, here’s the real-life distance between Mount Othrys and Mount Olympus. (Othrys being the bottom one)

Strangely, Mount Olympus is further north than Mount Othrys.
You may think this means AO is flipped upside-down this however does not parallel Pelion Mountain.

yeah, I had no idea, but Pelion Rift is actually just a mountain.

As you may expect, Athens is also near here, because it is Greece. So strangely, the War Seas have more positional significance than the Seven Seas.

Of course, we have Rome not too far northwest from Greece, and Egypt a decent way south.

Egypt and Rome both parallel Sameria and Ravenna respectively.

This could be unfounded, but the similarities of Sameria, Sabura, and Savaria, all being based on Egypt, could mean that the Seven Seas are actually south of the War Seas, and not too far south at that.

We have here, Norway. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Norse Mythology is based in Norway.

It seems to me that the various cultures simply made back what they lost in the nearest remaining inhabitable area, which is what lead to there being three Egypts.

I can’t think of a parallel to Redwake, so it would seem they’re a bit new to existing.
I’m also not sure what Winterveil would be all about, so they’re probably newcomers too.

Seven seas is literally on the other side of the world

Man, how do you know where it is?

It’s North America, the old sea is extrapolated to be South America, so I’d assume the other 2 are in Africa and Asia/oceania

Why was Theos even in the Seven Seas if it’s so far away from where the stuff happened?

Why is America being colonized a canon event? If it’s in North America why is it so European?

Durza was there

Also it’s entirely possible the seven seas formed before the war seas, causing them to flee there and be too lazy to go back

I am 99.9% sure that is what is described in the timeline

Dumbass

What is “The other side of the world” to people who live inbetween the dark sea?

the other side of the world is the other side of the world, we’re still on a globe

If you go really far in one direction, you end up where you were again. Time yourself going in that direction, and you will end up with a number. Halve that number and travel in any direction for that period of time, and you will end up on the other side of the world.

Norse Mythology is set from like Russia-Greenland (or technically Vinland, but everybody believes that theres a sea monster seperating that from Greenland, and after Greenland is just the edge of the world)

Norse doesn’t mean Norwegian, it just means Scandinavian Peoples prior to their divergences into the 3 major nations of Sweden,Norway and Denmark.

And I’m pretty sure Wotan is based off the Danelaw in England, because the leaders of Keraxe Ships have the same Titles of “nobility” that existed in the Danelaw

I know this has been stated, but it contradicts itself. Multiple times we’re told of the significance of “South” to the PK, and “South” also correlates to the wherever the Order is doing their Shenanigans. + The Two have had 3 seperate cases where people have travelled between the two, which is the highest amount of travel between any Sea Cluster.

I’ve always imagined that The Seven Seas is north of the War Seas, (distance between like Europe and Central Africa though) and between the 2 lay the Old Sea, or maybe the Old Sea is south of the War Seas, and is the cause of the Order since the dates somewhat matchup?

Or maybe vetex made swiss cheese out of lore again

Just cuz hades and the aberration are both south of pk and ao mc respectively doesn’t make the lore inaccurate

Maybe the compass is wrong
I mean, the sun rises in the north and sets in the south

So either the compass is wrong, or the earth has been retilted

Ah, the sun. Right.

shit bros onto something

So not only is Mount Olympus in the wrong direction, but so is the sun…
How did that happen?
