It’s super annoying, cause I keep making a build, but then I get bored of it and super demoralized to play it soon after max level after I buy a brig, and then I start the game all over and do a new magic. Any tips on how to get out of this loop?
Why do you want to get out of it? its fine to just keep making new files, more fun even.
just fill out all your files instead. if you don’t want to buy more files make an alt
cause it feels like i could be exploring the dark sea and doing mid-late game stuff but i just feel indecisive
for me id always try to do new files and id get partway through but then stop playing and then restart with a different build idea and repeat
You can just come back to your old files as the game updates, you’ll do those eventually
i kinda wish there was a way to change your main magic mid-playthrough
hecate essences (the intended magic changing thing) have no right to be as rare as they are
i can kinda understand vetex not wanting changing your whole build to be really easy but like
every other build can change their stuff super easily but magic is extremely hard to change for like no reason, its so silly how its like that
Maybe if lost magics were out and upon finding an hecate essence while having a lost magic, you got to change that lost magic to any other lost magic available, its rarity would be justified.

HAHA i wouldn’t happen to have this same issue…
just like me fr. Anyway your best bet is to wait until savant gets more stuff so you can just use everything at base. you end up getting a brig on your files though which i don’t do. unfortunately i think my situation is a little worse because i always end up back at savant but unable to decide what to use because every skill has overlap in uses
That or Warden/Oracle might be your best bet (that might be what saves me due to unique writes, until i find a stupid savant build again)
