me who totally not just switched to mage from warrior yesterday:
Ive been playing AO since 2023 Early access and it has taken me until literally 3 days ago to find a build i enjoy that just clicks in. Savant was the one for me, and i never had so much fun with the game before this happened. I invested so much time and money into weapons, armor and setting everything up then this change just throws it in the toilet and the Balance Team which in my opinion should resign completely, stares me right in my eyes as they flush it all. To add salt to injury, i literally got jumped by 2 clan mages 30 minutes before the change took place. Obviously, i lost. many times. they also kept flying away each time they got low. Because of course they can now fly away.
i am back to Wood items, holding 2 skills, literally. Thats the state im in right now. I will be switching to Warrior and never looking back unless they revert the change somehow. I won’t give up on having fun because of an incompetent balancing team that only looks towards PvP development which is a completely other separate branch from the main game.
