I donât love it, I donât hate it. The song itself is pretty nice and I love the way it flows actually. Itâs just the autotune that kind of ruins it. Overall nice song actually

Before we get into it I tend to judge people who listen to Japanese music religiously while (most likely) not being Japanese so keep that in mind before taking anything from me

I get itâs a thing, but I hate how everything about the song and the videoclip are made so smooth. It just feels like stepping into a full white bathroom in a hotel and getting a headache from all the lights. You know what I mean??
The rest of the song is just kind of generic Jpop: Very Indie feel and the piano instrumentals are tuned in that one specific way that they use for tons of Jpop songs
Youâd have to convince me to even consider listening to the first 2 minutes casually - Nevermind the song is only 3 minutes long

I HATE THE VOCALS. Theyâre just annoying. I donât know what makes me hate them that much but the singer just sounds so punchable. Overall the song just kinda sounds the same most of the time and the only exception are the mediocre guitar instrumentals towards the end.

I tried my hardest best not to decrease my base rating by 2 whole points because of the horn sound playing every ~2 seconds on this track. It makes me wanna burn my ears off. I love the use of different unstruments on music but this is NOT HOW YOU DO IT RIGHT. It ruins the song. I hate it.

The only song I can respect from your music yet. I like Sabaton and metal and the guitar riff on the chorus hits hard. The guitar solo towards the end is one of the reasons metal is a valid genre.

I like this, but it deserves some vocals. It doesnât deserve to be just a song off of a gameâs OST. This would probably make it to my post rock playlist if it had some good vocals on it. Without any vocals it gets kind of repetitive and dull after a few minutes, and thatâs the reason it didnât get rated higher.

honestly fair, didnât know what to throw in since I like multiple different genres so I tried to diversify (sadly dwarf metal didnât make the cutâŠ)
but I offer one last song because this is buried within generic j-pop and rock songs in my playlist and I forgor about its existence (okay im done giving songs now so other people can offer theirs)
also saw this last, Iâm not Japanese but I mean I am Vietnamese so uh, same general region and Iâve listened to music from other countries from SE Asia if that counts for anything ig? Also I mean Iâm on learning Japanese for reasons unrelated to my musical tastes if that counts for anything as well.
Anyways, I can get why you donât like the first 3 songs I chose (1stâs pretty generic to imo, get why people donât like the style of the 2nd but I do, I actually really like the 3rdâs singer a lot but I can get why you donât) and I can see why the horn on black racers can be jarring.
My understanding on music is embarrassingly shallow for someone whose played instruments for like a decade of my life now and you do seem like a person thatâd be nice to discuss music with, but this thread is the place for you to give opinions and not discuss with others, so cheers. (ignore the edits my thoughts come in waves and im sorta of slow)

itâs never too late to explore some new genres. My own understanding of some genres is incredibly shallow while for others it can go as deep as the Mariana Trench. Music comes in phases and youâll likely go through multiple phases before finding what you enjoy and connect to on a deeper level
