vampire the masquerade bloodlines
immersive sim rpg where you unwillingly got sired into becoming a vampire through a one night stand and have to struggle in a different kind of society with its own rules to survive and mess around
(if you ever plan to play remember to install and apply the unofficial patch though because base game is broken yeah old game moment)
the game has a very interesting lore and wordlbuilding with lots of good questlines that you can tackle with in your own ways
the combat isnt very good on its own but its more fun when applied tactically while taking advantage of either the environment (eg: breaking circuit box to reduce enemy visibility, finding a different path to sneak kill/pass enemies) or your clan discipline abilities (a lot of them are varied and interesting in their own ways)
i think the best parts are the world, questlines and the characters themselves, a lot of them feel very alive (despite being undead half the time) through the dialogue with the animations & voice acting being very expressive
take my words with a grain of salt though cuz i actually still havent beaten through the main story yet (college moments XD) and i only recently got it through the recent steam sale a bit ago but my opinion on it has been very positive so far

i feel like minecraft is that one game i hated for years, got around to playing with it, enjoyed it, then optimized the crap out of it before turning my brain off and running it at 500 fps then chucking it away to never play again (i dislike minecraft moral of the story)
