Let me explain, this is an API request to fetch a server list’s data . The interesting thing here is that it includes ping (The highlighted part of the image).
Knowing that I knew I had to do something with it, I started watching tutorials on making a chrome extension… eventually, it worked.
So here, you might think: “Yo it worked, let’s goooo”. But when I tested it, all the servers I got were USW or USE, and at that moment, I realized the ping is actually the server’s ping, not your client’s ping to the server. I was extremely disappointed and stopped working on the extension.

Of course, I didn’t stop there, I went on the dev forum, trying to find a solution. I did find one, and it was to own the game. I accepted the reality and moved on.

to my experience, it links you to the server with the best connection for YOU
sure i main AS, but i can also get connected to USE and USW and i play on them just as well, because it connects me to the best server for that time
Yea I know, but there’re many types of the same server. AS Tokyo, AS Hong Kong, AS Singapore (best for me). So I expected the ping to give me the best AS server in all of the servers

Thank you, I’ve always worked on roblox studio so most of my knowledge is all from roblox. I’m making these projects to broaden my knowledge, but at the same time, due to my lack of experience, I can’t make the code flexible as I wanted, making some features I wanted to add ended up in the trash can.
