I watched Hadestown on Broadway!

personally as an AO player i felt most knowledgeable in viewing a production based on greek mythology :point_up: (jk lmao it was really good, went with my drama club and overall made nyc so much more terrible with them)

never heard of it before but this play seems cool, whats it about?

also what goofy ass fit is that bruh

MY FIT WAS SO FIRE STFU

anyways its a retelling of the Orpheus + Eurydice myth, while also making parallels to Hades’s and Persephone’s romance (romance?)

with a jazzy early 1900s aesthetic

(bro literally aducted her and she’s his niece)

YEAH that’s what i was so HMMMMMMM about

ignoring all of THAT the story was rlly good and also sad

HADESTOWN YEAHHHHH

man I wanna see it so bad one day :sob:

OH DAMN!! wish i went :broken_heart:

not very fond of theatres.
But from what i can tell…it seems like something interesting to participate in.
The only good time i went with my school to a theatre was last year, think it was about dead poets society, basically.

Omg welcome to NYC! Hope you enjoyed the play :D!
I was there to watch Hamilton a few years ago
