True, very true, and we haven’t seen enough of the progression to verify if it would or wouldn’t work out, good point.
If everyone can access other builds stuff later on if possible, then everyone gets equality.
Reverse it though, why can the player not use a strength weapon without also obtaining a fighting style niche?
No reason given!
Doesn’t sound like a problem to me. Strength Weapons aren’t any stronger than the other weapons they could get, and if anything, they’d be weaker since they have a lower tier. A warrior would be better off to use Artisan weapons anyway.
Also I meant specifically Warriors and Oracles by that, this brings no effect on Berserkers and Mages.
Your suggestion sounds good on paper, but if the strength weapon is obsolete for warlords then it’ll be obsolete for anybody else who meets the massively boosted stat requirement, making it pointless and removing some of warlord’s uniqueness.
Warriors and conjurors are also getting their own special weapon types anyways.
Well this is different.
A Warrior can pick up a heavy weapon and sling it around if they’re just good at it. So they just gotta be extra good at weapon slinging.
Yeah, at that point it’s just for funsies.
That’s the whole idea, just why not let them even if it’s not good?
You should only get that stuff if you specifically put in the stats for it. Your idea basically would make a conjurer almost make a savant obsolete. Because why spec into strength when you can just get skills from 3 entire build paths for the price of 2.
Vetex said that the strength gives them aura so they don’t need fighting styles.
Balance, it should be obvious that only savant should have all the crazy niche build synergy options at reduced skill points.
But this disproves that pure builds and hybrid ones are somehow not on an even playing field im terms of skills they can learn.
Artisan Weapons are only exclusive because they have too large of a stat requirement for hybrids to properly use (i’d assume).
Max-tier strength/arcanium weapons would be no different, and still exclusive.
I love shenanigans!
You get it, it would just be a spectacle to wield big axe!
heres the thing tho about the difference between the size of the weapons in-game
Strength weapons are like two-three times bigger than the human body, or pretty much something like lance of loyalty which looks like someobdy made a chunk of iron for no reason without making it sharp but instead have like 200+ weight throughout the entire lance while still managing to swing it every 0.5 seconds
the warrior using great-axe in game swinging it like every 1 - 1.5s im lazy to count while its the length of 80% of their body when the only weight is the axe part
and who the fuck made the entire halberd made of metal
anyways the heavy-weapons that warriors use are not the same as heavy big strength weapons
Tf does this even mean? Vetex said it was like that so that’s just how it is. Therefore Argos and Evander are warlords.
Savant is fine, even if it did have to rely on its awakening why does this mean that another weapon build can be allowed to make them obsolete.
Earlier you said this:
This implies that pures and hybrids aren’t on an even playing field because hybrids will eventually get stuff. But the next point you make contradicts this one???
