The whole idea behind this post was “Man, Strength Weapons are cool, it’s a shame that they’re locked up for two stats. But… Warrior stuff isn’t locked up like that…”

Why would they ever change tho? Only classes that should get strength weapons ever are Warlords and Savants, if you want a strength weapon that’s obsolete just pick savant it’ll do the same thing
I will continue to accept “then use Savant” as a fair argument to this.

You can increase strength stat without ever using a fighting style and us strength weapons without imbuing your fighting style into them. I don’t really see why this would be necessary to explain why they could use strength weapons without an fs.
I dunno, savant already kinda gets the short end up the stick and doesn’t get access to much. I think they should keep their unique ability to be the only ones who can imbue strength weapons with magic or spirit and use them.
By the time hybrids get to use the current weapons exclusive to pure builds there will be new weapons exclusive to pure builds. By the end of the game there will be weapons that only pure builds can use.
There aren’t gonna be as many hybrid weapons as there are pure ones, hybrids kinda need all they can get.

I get the idea, and in a vacuum it sounds nice and fun. However, its the same issue I have with Vetex saying berserkers may be able to imbue fighting styles into each other in the future, it undermines hybrids and when they already don’t have much all to themselves it just removes most of what they have unique to them. Maybe in the late game there’ll be tons of strength weapons with high stat reqs(though even then I don’t know if I’d change my mind), but based on how things are going I really just don’t see this being a good thing.

Well, if a weapon is currently exclusive to Warrior, hybrids will get them soon enough. If a weapon is exclusive to Warlord, too bad.

by the time a hybrid gets a weapon a warrior was using, the warrior would’ve gotten an even higher level weapon
