I actually doubt that they are order members, While I do believe that they are evil and probably planned the set up together I think it’s based on the hate towards seafolk then an actual order goal.
Realistically killing Allon’s wife wouldn’t impact the order directly at all and it was likely entirely malicious.
I doubt the order would be able to enter Sky hall without being noticed mostly due to the fact that you need a form of flight to reach the area and most of them make you very noticeable while the glider technique is more of a hidden idea that doesn’t seem popular in practice at all because apparently they weren’t visited for years.
(Just to add you really can’t send a group of lesser scouts in any safe or hidden way to sky hall especially if they don’t have means to get in other then having to use gliders which even our MC almost fails to do, Circus is an exception cuz it’s basically just a village in the sky, Sky hall is an entire kingdom with it’s heart close to every island in it’s control. It’s just not easy to get in and stay hidden for lackeys)
So for the most part only mages, Spirit users and curse users could possibly reach sky hall and none of those options are silent or non flashy.
I suppose they are simply just another evil among the war seas that are constantly looking out only for themselves and will do whatever it takes for their own safety and well-being while also guarding their own interests and beliefs.
What is a possibility IMO is that the order wants Keraxe to experiment with a bunch of cursed items like the potion they drink which will continue as long as they slaughter innocents and kingdoms, Could also be that Keraxe buys these goods from the Order while the Order continues to learn from the effects to improve it.
Perhaps to prolong it they spread around the idea to the 2nd prince to use the poison on Allon and kill his wife to ruin chances of any meaningful future relations between Sameria and Skyhall so Keraxe wouldn’t fall into a sort of stalemate with them which could possibly halt the war.

Okay but Prince Lucian lives there. I’m sure he could find a way to get a couple of randos in the order to come help him with an assassination.
Why do it? Because Lucian gets the inheritance, and the Order gets easy access to Allanon and his legacy junk after he’s banished to the sea.

Oh this part is actually clever. It’s why the MC was taken and allanon is 'special’ in the same way as our character. Even if the brother isn’t apart of the group he most likely aided them yeah

Hmm it could also just be that he found a bunch of racists like him let’s be real BUT, It’s actually a good point that he would get the throne and Allon would be obtained by the order for experiments.
HOWEVER, IIRC the infection he has actually weakens his MAGIC. The whole plan would kind of go against the order if an effect weakens the power of magic BUT that’s assuming they don’t know how to cure the infection either.
Even if his magic is weakened would that matter to the order? If they figure out how it works (aka how to steal divine lineage) they can then take it for them selves without the lost of mage skin disease

Alright make this scene in your head,
Returning to Skyhall with proof of him being in the order the MC calls him out. Therefore he run’s off and get’s chased, alongside the MC following suit. In turn a boss fight near the edge of Skyhall’s Island.
At the end of this boss fight, Lucian tries to do one cheap shot but it end’s up in failure. The MC use’s a beam of magic that construct’s into a phoenix-like shape. Therefore knocking Lucian into the Nimbus Sea to his death.
(With this moment it displays (phoenix construct, a nod to Allanon.) and Lucian being knocked into the sea (something he despised)
Okay, now explain how this works for builds that don’t have magic
Spirit, similar idea shaped like a phoenix.
Weapon & Strength, wind attack shaped like a phoenix
or just not have that happen
