Yeah I was thinking the same too lol. Climbing especially makes me think of botw.
I would like mana pressure
like if your level of magic is so high it would choke or apply insanity to those who are on a wayyy lower level
or maybe makes your spells cost x1.5 more mana, regardless that’s pretty good topic
It literally says when you get mastery tier you will be able to shape blast attacks, ect.
a magic armor that will create an aura of magic when u active the magic mode to enhance ur stats . u can share the effect to other players.
Increasing your magics damage past the cap in exchange for recoil damage, like for however much you increase the damage of your move past 100% you receive that damage as recoil. (probably would have a second cap cuz that would be kinda broken if it was endless)
That’s probably how the drawback stat will work.
Being able to use health as a fuel for magic after you’re out of magic to keep pushing it past the normal limit until you die would be pretty cool.
That’s coming when maker magic is unlocked
This already happens with stamina, which is useful in itself. However, it wouldn’t make sense unless it was exclusive to awakened tier imo.
I’m more of a rule of cool guy so I get your concern, but maybe it could somehow fit with how non-augmented magic damaged the user’s body. Don’t think that it’s gonna be added anyways.
With awakened tier, you do not use magic circles, you use your body. This is why it would make sense to lose hp if you overtax your magic energy.
Definitely to have different styles of blast volleys, like say instead of rapid fire, why not burst fire or something akin to a shotgun blast, firing all the projectiles at once!
That would be nice. Maybe some kind of pattern choice too? Like releasing volleys of angled projectiles in a certain direction, sort of like bosses in bullet hell games.
A dynamic threat system would be pretty cool. At the moment, when a level 60 is nuking the city, magic council soldiers arent enough, and when there’s a poor -rep starter wizard entering the city trying to buy some leather armor, they get nuked by the local scouts and evaporated if they kill anybody and get declared a threat.
A system similar to GTA would be cool, where if you only had a low bad rep or a bounty, you would only get hunted down by bounty hunters, or local ‘Guard/Militia’ NPCs (which would basically be friendly soldiers that wear iron armor and use stab magic (normal weapons such as bows and daggers)) and get issued a “low danger threat”.
Then, if you kill more than 3 people, you would get issued a normal threat, where magic council members would actively come hunt you and so on.
At last, if you manage to keep the town under threat for more than 10 - 15min or killed more than 15 NPCs, you’d get issued a “high danger threat” where you would get stronger NPCs sent after you, and a ‘BREAKING’ in the Newspaper asking any available Wizards to help or something like that.
It would be neat.
i would like to add reputation in the culture and village of the map.
With the Reputation we could learn about the past of their culture win some bonus or item even unlock some good quest, good item, Artefact, Lost Magic and even a an Adjective in your name like hero, the saver…
i would love to see this in the game
EASY!
The ability to choose no magic whenever you start your WoM play-through. It would open so many opportunities for play styles, guilds and an interesting change of career options! Players without magic can become mercenaries, bounty hunters, and such.
What would be the advantages to having no magic though?
Interesting Idea indeed.
It would allow for more individual character stories and progression, Backstories, Playstyles, and so on.
That said, for this to be carried out effectively, it might be too ambitious.
Then again, this isn’t the Game suggestion Channel.
High jump move but sideway.
