“my friends skip the story dialogue so I have to skip as well or else I’ll be late for fights” and “I can’t park my boat in the same tight docks that the stationary boats use” .

so, funny story, he was actually mass quoting posts from another topic, and those two complaints in particular (as well as a good chunk of the post) just so happen to be mine…

If that was the interpretation I guess I should improve the wording, does this look better?

• • There’s no option to wait for party members before starting a boss fight, so if you have a large friend group of people reading at different speeds you either end up needing to skip pre-boss dialogue to join in faster or your friends just have to dodge attacks and stall waiting for you to read
• • If someone else kills the enemies from a story encounter (ex: windrow wolves ambush, kill guards in fort talos, etc.) before you deal any damage to them, you don’t get credit (even if they’re in your party) and you need to wait a full minute or so until they respawn before you can continue (which again feels sort of immersion breaking when you’re trying your hardest to make sure everyone dealt a tiny bit of damage to every enemy before killing them so you don’t get trapped in the story bit for an unnecessarily long time)

If your boat gets stuck somewhere you can’t escape by turning alone, you’re pretty much just completely softlocked save for resetting or leaving the game (NPC harbors are a good example of this)

(the original context for this list was “Petition to dedicate a whole update to fixing bugs” and I made a list of things that’d be nice to see in a game cleanup update, I promise I wasn’t just insanely salty about the way full release came out)
