less emphasis on greek gods but they still exist
do more research on greek mythos
make the world not “exactly the same as us before the whole magic thing” but rather just a world similar
remnants of other religions such as christianity (in thorne) and buddhism (in ryujin) for example still exist in their respective lands (i find their philosophy and imagery more interesting than greek pantheism tbhh)
rework dialogue system and make it so the dialogue box can change sizes and positions depending on the current situation
(eg: a big rectangle on ruminating monologues, exposition, the usual ADV style dialogue box but with an icon of the speaking character’s face )
make it so the protagonist narrates their own monologue which changes depending on which dialogue stat and choices you picked
add more psychopaths and weirdo characters because everyone is just too vanilla tbh
dialogue between characters that bounce off each other rather than forced dialogue to make the story move forward
lean more into topics like human trafficking when dealing with the pirate factions or just the shady factions in general
more interactions of mordenirisneviro with the protagonist (self explanatory)

a more in depth explanation on how magic and spirit energy affects biological functions
or just proper explanations for certain things in general like the mageskin disease

improve the pacing for certain story chapters (mainly skyhall because it happens so fast that most people who didnt pay attention thought allanon’s crashout was super random)
giving thought and make it so that theres a proper actual reason for something to exist rather than adding it shallowly (grey ones…,…)

chaos isnt attracted to pure evil but rather the abundance of human desire (still similar but i dislike concepts of pure evil and pure good, shit thats just black and white is wack)

add filler chapters to the story for when you’re supposed to level up that aims to propogate stuff like character development, interaction and relationship (i dont mean romance) an example is like a filler story in palo town in between frostmill and stepstones where you meet with morden and converse about our experiences while he asks us about how we feel especially after getting amnesia from escaping the order diddy dungeon

improve the destruction system by making it require more effort to be destroyed with most skills except for the Obviously destructive looking skills
reduce the particle emitters when destroying something (the main source of lag when i fight anything)
sidequests have different outcomes depending on your actions and the dialogue options you pick
eg: in the sidequest with the mom in snowriven you can lie to her that you havent found her missing son or tell the truth that he died

A pretty minor change, but for the town wandering npcs, it would be nice that when a citizen accidently kills another, we don’t just see a guard investigate and then go about their day. Instead chasing the person who has done it.

This one is more personal, but I don’t think they should have added something like Gilded Lost Treasure Pieces that I heard exist now apparently. Lost pieces are already annoying and supposed to be the sunkens of treasure charts. Yet now they have a modifier which is only a *very* small chance of getting through a mythical chart, much smaller than the chances for lost treasures in general. Making a modifier that is straight-up superior with no drawbacks to something already rare makes me feel like I should waste using scrolls and jewels on the already good and difficult to acquire lost envoy pieces cause I know that gilded lost envoy parts exist now. I worry they may do something similar with Sunkens and that will be a whole ‘nother time consuming grind.

But Warren isn’t hobo though? Not with the background he has, also hopefully he does have a bigger role in the story as more story content is released in the future. I’m eager to see how things go.

We saw him on the bottom of the Stepstones with his rinky dinky sailboat talking about sum: “Oh I am too lazy to scale this mountain when I could dead ass just fly up there. So… Yk, get to climbing jackass. Also, don’t mess with me punk.”

-Complete rework of the story and begin rewriting areas that had weaker narratives

-Absolutely rewrite and re-pace the entirety of the Skyhall story arc

-Focus on optimizing the dark sea and rebalance the experience to feel challenging while minimizing the amount that RNG can affect the player

-Lower the stat requirements on spirit rite skills to be more oracle/hybrid friendly

-Nerf savant’s effectiveness via making their damage modifier and size modifier slightly smaller. This helps keep the other hybrids feel more relevant while still allowing savants to play like a super-fusion but not outshine the roster completely

-Create public testing sessions where updates are released earlier for the community to play and point out errors

-Re-vitalize the suggestions category on the forums

-Paramount banks are not random spawns and instead have a set location on every major civilization island in the game

-Animals no longer deal percent damage and instead will do damage through alternative means

-Visually overhaul most magics, focusing especially on the solids

-Reduce the cost of the magic change gamepass to 500 robux, which can be purchased every 24 real life hours

-During a battle with The Omen, atlantean brigs, weather phenomena, and water poisoning cannot occur, The Omen is given better visual indicators and more unique attack patterns to make the fight more engaging and unique

-Revert the Deckhand loyalty gain nerf and rework it so obtaining the “dedicated” tier requires a small questline to help give the NPCs more personality and more work required outside of just item spam

-Wandering minibosses that are “sailing the X sea” will have a DEDICATED sailing location in which they can be consistently encountered and battled. Relic users will drop their relic first at a 100% chance, then return to their regular loot pools afterwards upon repeat battles

-Add more optimization and QoL features into the game in general, including the ability to hide the leaderboard and the ability to turn off wandering town NPCS

-Athena’s wisdom and Hecate essence are made significantly easier to obtain and find. Hecate essence is lowered to being found in i2+ ranges, and Athena’s wisdom is guaranteed to appear after 2-3 siren rocks if it does not appear beforehand. A notification will be given to the player to state how “they feel a powerful presence” or something of the like in order to be able to hunt for these objects as a way to make the hunt easier and as a way to respect the player’s time

-Add the ability to pacify certain animal types and add them to your crew as a new “beast partner”, different animals serve different purposes, each one with their respective strengths and weaknesses. At high tiers of friendship, you can equip specialized items onto your beast partners to give them abilities or stats they wouldn’t have otherwise

-Remove the destructible terrain inside of enemy towers as they make the process of scaling the structure obnoxious and far more tedious than it needs to be, make it so most major bossfight areas no longer have destructible terrain

-Q&As are hosted on the forums every 2 or so months as a “check-up” to see how the community feels about certain mechanics or changes implemented

-Add the ability to wager items instead of purely drachma in PvP duels

-Add an option to turn off the Aberration’s red glow when looked at in settings, as it can get somewhat obnoxious when using sensing

-Stat resets are given out for free every major update or when a notably large change in how a build works is implemented into the game

and also add elysium raid bosses ASAP, rn pve doesn’t have anything to push the player to his limits

I know vetex wanted to meet his deadline, but man FR could’ve done with at least a week of testing before dropping

Also fix memory leaks cause they keep stacking on top of each other every time a new one gets ignored/not addressed

I’d easily ban everyone here for daring to criticize my work

Remove all testers, Combine Testers and Balancers into the same slot role. Anyone not knowledge with balancing will not be given Tester.

Work on game stability instead of content, Fix current problems while planning reworks to the early story and lore based on some of the newer ideas instead.

Personally I wouldn’t do QNAs, I’d just check out the forums cuz it’s pretty reliable to know what people think IMO.

hire more devs and let them do all the work because i know nothing about game design
