He’s true ya know
if this ever happens:
Iris gets a quest where she is stuck on a small island and cant swim because i head-cannon that heat mages don’t learn how to swim and avoid the ocean because it worsens their magic. You do some gathering for water breathing and glacial potions to get her off. you get exp and a rare spell scroll.
And Morden gets a quest where hes concerned about the teams gear, so you go do some diving spots, treasure charts, and then collect one boss drop. he mentions that he’ll share it with the crew; your deckhands gain favor, and you get a random tier-2 scroll.
tbh we need more quests that give stuff aside from exp and galleons.
imagine completing the quest and getting like
a tier 2 shovel scroll
fellow Dame Caesennia fan…
there are four paths:
shovel scroll
fishing rod scroll
weapons scrolls (only on non-weapons files)
and resistance/regen scrolls
a side quest which is just the mc and ruby hanging out
I’ve always wanted to fly hence, aside from a tool or vehicle that could make me fly why not add a quest where the mages after awakening will seek a scroll that contains an instruction on how to fly. Ofcs vetex would not let that happen coz the usage of ships will decrease.
This one!
Reworking Enizor’s questline to be better!
That’s basically the hero/villain storyline from WoM. It was… pretty good, only the bosses though, the rest was a bandit beater and finding enemies was a paaaaaain.
Infinite Empress Nilah fetch quests so I can get more dialogue
hi momma dragon alt
I’d like something more mechanically interesting. First idea that comes to mind is needing to freeze one object, electrify another, and set a third on fire, all at the same time. So, you would need to either get friends or get potions. Things like that, that require some more outside the box thinking.
So I wanna take into account some questlines that I would find nice to do AND that can be needed in the story/little details for retracing some islands in late-game. Just for the funsies or extra money while you stumble upon them while doing cargo.
Date Night Odyssey
Unlocked at Level 15
You see a troubled young man sitting in The Red Fin at Redwake. You walk up and talk to him. He tells you about the fact he’s meeting the girl he likes tonight, but isn’t sure on what to say or do, he’s extremely nervous.
You can either respond with “I think I may be able to help” / “I feel you, man…” / “Good luck with that”. First one the guy gets encouraged and asks you for help, in the second one the guy hesitantly asks you for help, in the third one it’s just a Goodbye option.
Upon accepting the quest, he asks how you can possibly help him. You go to Estrid for any ideas and she gets excited at the prospect of a warm love story brewing in her tavern, saying you can pose as “newly hired staff”, and will “dress you up for the job”, telling you to change in one of the rooms upstairs, forcing you into a waiter outfit for the remainder of the quest (similar to how you’re in rags at the beginning of the game, or wearing the patch on your head after General Julian).
While you were changing, the girl arrives and hijinks ensues.
Whenever you talk to the guy to progress the quest, it’s because he’s getting nervous or has a blank mind, to which you’ll have to slip in a line for him to say, getting different dialogue from her in response.
Then they order some food, he orders some seafood (so any sea creature you can use in a meal will be required) and she wants a mushroom stew (so any mushrooms you can use in a meal will be required). If you talk to Estrid during this part of the quest, she’ll recommend going with Manni for ingredients unless you have your own, same as using Asfrith’s pot.
After that, you occasionally give him tips on what to say again, until they finish their meal and ask for any type of pie, again, to your choosing. They pay and he seems pleased with how things turned out, until she breaks the illusion and tells him she could literally see you whispering to him the entire time. He apologizes profusely because he thinks he’s not good enough the way he is, but she says she accepted to come BECAUSE of the way he is, and would rather awkwardly work their way through their first date together instead of him not being himself, as she’d rather work through things slowly.
After that, she suggests they continue their date on the docks, on their own this time. He is confused for a second but quickly accepts eagerly, and says he’ll be right there as she steps out The Red Fin. He thanks you for your help and gives you a Citrine, saying he was going to give it to her tonight, but he’d like to wait until later to give her something later, once they know each other better.
Quest ends and if you talk to Estrid afterwards, she’ll say “You have quite a way with words, if you ever do some more matchmaking… or plan on getting yourself into the mix, tell me! I know some people that might be interested…”
And that’s it, I need to leave school right now, might make some more when I get home.
Gary.
A perfect replication of Who Shot Johnny Joestar in the form of a NV style quest.
i think a boss rush type of quest would be neat, maybe like the duel quests we already have but immediately one after another with little to no downtime (maybe at an arena island to demonstrate its functionality or something like that)
an npc on Pelion Rift that challenges you to get to the other side of it before the npc runs to it. The npc dashes along Pelion Rift with the speed of a player with max agility, and you have access to your boat.
i agree
