obv this is just speculation buuuuut having 1000 levels but only having 2 awakenings - which also happen super early game - is kinda lame
just imagine if conjurers could like get upgraded imbuements which physically change and enhance the weapon
or wardens get some sort of ability that generates a passive radius fist around them using their spirit

After awakenings is when we get into stuff like lost/ancient magics/fighting styles and legendary weapons
me, a mage, when I reach the 3rd awakening and unlock the ability to imbue my magic onto my magic:
oh right nvm then
You literally awaken and it was all a dream
imbue magic with 2 other magics
savant would end up getting FS or 10% tank
I don’t think 2nd awakening will happen in Nimbus Sea.
It’ll at least be the 4th sea when we get 2nd awakening, similar to where we (should’ve) unlocked our 3rd mind in AA.
If each sea is approximately the same length then the nimbus sea would def get us to level 250, it 100% won’t be the 4th I’ll tell you that much. At max it’ll be the third sea
It says in the Trello (assuming it doesn’t get changed) that are second awakening is around 240 so maybe the nimbus sea if we’re lucky

We got second magic in 2nd sea in AA if I’m not wrong. So this comparison is sorta moot.
Unless my brain has fully turned off
I feel it may either be a “need to get stronger” deal like either at the end of the second sea or upon realizing that you’re gonna need to be as strong as you can be before setting out on the rest of your journey (one piece two years of training moment)
After level 250 we are told to get 749 more levels to proceed to next quest, fortunately for us Vetex has assigned 4 tough bandits right next to the quest to grind for the next couple of days.
the 3rd awakening is when the protagonist takes off the VR Headset, and sees the numerous scientists around him.
Professor iris: “so how was the simulation?”
Professor morden: “I hope you liked the silly easter eggs we snuck inside! Sorry if there was some graphical glitches from our end, the neurological stimulator still isn’t super accurate yet.”
Senior computer scientist calvus: “I wanted a cat simulator game but these guys INSISTED we did this one, it seems it put quite a strain on the GPU core”
MC: “ugh… how long have I been in there for? it felt like months!”
Professor Neviro: “actually you’ve only been there for 10 minutes! the neuron acceleration device has proven itself to be effective!”
Scientists Elius and Carina: “Hey we heard the reality simulation was a success, we got donuts from the break room to celebrate!”
