Roblox has always been terrible with wording and getting things across clearly but doesnt this just mean that you lose any data you gained during the maintance? or do they mean you really do lose all data
that depends on how the game uses storeservice.
if they use it to save all data, rip your progress
if they use it for short term data saving and then saves it their own cache, your new progress wouldnt save but your old would.

nevermind guys, datastore is used for long term data, memorystore is just ram so any new progress wont be saved if the game uses it
your old data would be fine

So basically don’t play games that save progress during the downtime unless you don’t care. Like even though DOORS saves your currency I don’t care if it gets lost because it’s super easy to get.
