AO mc is the Potential Man equivalent of the Arcane Universe?
For starters, lets check our 2 other main characters
Online Fighting MC (Unnamed)
Arcane Adventures MC (Peacekeeper)
While Online Fighting didn’t have a lot of lore… actually, the only lore we had was Rupin background- it is evident that its main character was a GOAT being able to get the Fire Curse, master it in only a few levels, and even make it into budget Inferno Curse with its special mode
Peacekeeper on the other side, has A LOT of feats backing them up;
being trained by The Strongest mage to ever exist;
beating Durza himself and even being acknowledged by Arthur, Cursebeard on their strength;
getting the Absorption Curse;
beating Hades’s ass so they could learn how to destroy curses;
And a few other minor feats and non-main/non-cannon ones such as wiping Oblitesco and possibly getting legendary weapons;
Meanwhile AO mc has minor feats that feel more like cannon fodder rather than actual feats, the only “valid” one being beating Ravenna’s king and old war general (beating the elderly? aren’t we the villains now?)
is this another case of Potential Man or are we really into something?
online fighting had no story, it was kinda like wom in that regard
end of bronze sea is more like end of first sea, where you beat up a captain who got angry and has plasma magic which is less impressive than beating up a king with aether magic and sea curse fragment inheritance
except that captain is level 200, a mage and has Vastus blood, while calvus is a savant, probably around level 300-500 and still lost to MC whose a level 100-ish at the time of the quest, i call that cannon fodder
Arcane Odyssey? More like Arcane FRAUDyssey Imagine needing a godly bloodline to be strong, AO’s Potential Man would CRUMPLE in the face of AA’s CHADkeeper
Let’s be honest here…
The only reason AA’s protagonist was as strong as he was is due to them being revived by Durza. When the AA protagonist was dead, every atom in his body picked up magic residue essentially making them have a large amount of magic when they were revived, hence making them grow fast and be OP. The AO protagonist just has blood from a god or so. Also, the last boss the AA protagonist fought in the first sea was a mutation user plasma guy. The last boss the AO protagonist fought in their version of the first sea (bronze sea) was a king who was able to use both a “mutation” (lost magic) as well as aspects of a curse. And this, unlike the AA protagonist, was done with basically no mentorship. So which would’ve been harder to fight if you were put in the character’s shoes? A person who uses a mutation or a person who uses a mutation AND part of a curse? Obviously, it would be the latter. Hence, if you compare them both in the first sea, the AO protagonist is superior. If things continue, the AO protagonist will become vastly superior to the AA protagonist.
you are forgetting the fact that calvus is literally hardcarried by his aether and curse fragment, he is a high level savant and still couldn’t kill Neviro in one attack, he lost to a level 100-ish non awakened and starved/overworked hobo, both Calvus and AOMC had so many negatives that the feat of killing him feels empty as hell
What is a worse counter-feat? not one-shotting a dude with NO MAGIC, NO GOOD ARMOR, NOT HIGH LEVEL, and probably not even 500+ hp since that guy feeds on being useless, or not one-shotting a pirate from a good crew
note that we are intended to fight verdies at around the same level as the AOMC fought Calvus, and he didn’t even have any training at that point either

plus we don’t really know about Neviro’s level nor magic yet, but we could assume he’s a warrior since he’s on the path to become the world’s greatest spearman
plus Neviro wasn’t able to fight Calvus because Calvus knocked him out lol
also Calvus was holding back in the first half of the fight
he got neg-diffed by calvus (who is fodder) so he is 100% around level 50-100 wich is low for anyone other than Potential Man himself, he is said to not have the shadow curse fragment and since he is a spearmaster and doesnt have magic on his spear when he is ready to fight, he cant be a conjurer, therefore having no magic
Imagine needing a godly bloodline to be strong, AO’s Potential Man would CRUMPLE in the face of AA’s CHADkeeper
