was it worth it
We need to take more photos of islands at night with skyships landed on them.
This is not a skyship landing that caused this
I dreamt of falling off the White Mage island
You’re right, it was a skyship crashing.
Wrong, smoke potions
if fog looked like this it might become even more unbearable than already is but would be wayyyy more aesthetically pleasing
Can we just not have daytime fog in AO? It sucks.
crazy how much fog just ruins the aesthetic of the game, instead of being able admire the islands and seas while sailing, all I see is a drab gray fart cloud surrounding me
And a visually unappealing map that takes up my entire screen.
Where’s the flavor objects, and the outline art? What kind of 1800s pirate map is this? I want a shark head poking out.
Vetex should let me do the map art.
Now that you mention it, we do need better maps.
Why are there these clouds over places we’ve never seen before? Why are they even there if we don’t know they’re there? Are we not the artists here?
What if we could draw our own maps?
Imagine a map system where you draw out things as you discover them and apply names to them based on what you think they’re called.
I gotta stop giving people ideas for my game.
But like, imagine you find Akursius Keep (because there was no stupid day fog) and you get to be the one to add a medium-sized island preset to your map.
That’s be pretty neat ngl.
It’d actually be pretty realistic
Should I ask Tobi if he can try getting that added? Because if anybody’s drawing the AO maps on my watch, it’s Tobi.
Heck yeah, new suggestion
Nah, they’d find some way to get mad at me for DMing Tobi about a game idea.
Heck no, that’s a shame
You can try it.
I ain’t doin’ that, I can barely articulate myself after ten minutes of deep thought
