all roads lead to dark hair
nice build, btw what do you think gilduram is inspired by
Greece, kinda? I have them as being the successors/survivors of the Greek Empire (which is my own in-lore explanation for why Drachma is used so widely and Greek is the main language). Though at the same time, I also sprinkle in some elements of a certain italian citystate (well, it is initially portrayed as one, but it is many different things)… because I just really liked reading about it.
probably your best build rn, IMO ![]()
Ereferu, The Godslayer
A legendary figure, either renowned or reviled depending on whom you ask. Each iteration of the tale from across the ages has many differences, with even the name of the Godslayer themselves and the deity they killed being inconsistent. Of course, no one fate has been agreed upon. Some say they still walk the War Seas, seeking another god to bask in the ichor of. Others claim them to be long dead from age. Even more claim that they settled down, disappearing from the public eye to live the rest of their life in peace. Whatever the truth is, to contend with a god alone and come out the victor is a feat truly admirable by even some of the strongest in the world.
Those who searched for the Godslayer often came back empty-handed, though some never returned at all. A scarce few worship the Godslayer as a deity in their own right, under the assumption that they inherited the divinity of the dead god. Their belief hinges on the assumption that they survive to this very day, and without any evidence of their demise, none have succeeding in proving them wrong.
So, does he use light, shatter and gravity? and weapons?
I would beat him and win because I’ll cheese his AI by placing 2000 gunpowder barrels around him while he’s not aggro’d (I am a positive rep)
Not a single thing there says Ereferu is a pos rep npc
extra! extra! read all about it!
Talk about “better than the original”, eh? Had a lot of fun with this one (plus his rewrite) and I’ve finally been able to do something that I’ve really wanted to for a while. I love making bullshit.
Probably the last render I’ll ever make with this CPU/GPU as well. A nice send-off to my 3600.
ryder’s in his feelings and he can’t get out of it
This is actually hella cool
Haven’t seen Demon Slayer yet, is it any good?
good animation and i personally like the story, though people apparently dont think its well written so take that how you will
imo very enjoyable watch (just dont interact with the community at all)
Were the weaver eyes and “lace” intentional? pretty dope
If I remember correctly, I did take Lace from silksong, yeah. Only now that you mention it do I see the Weaver eyes, that part wasn’t intentional.
The Court of Gilduram’s King
Ah… what a once great group. Before the plague and the war… despite the centuries past, it feels like not yesterday that I laughed among that group. That I served the king as dutifully as one could.
The Prince? Oh, he was a kind fellow. Always adrift in thought.
Perhaps of his lover - rumor had it that he was head over heels for some girl shunned by the rest of the kingdom. He had armor made custom for her as a gift, last I heard. I suppose, in the end, he paid the price for it.
The Generals? Some of the best, for sure. Young Demostrate’s knowledge and expertise betrayed her youth. Perhaps some shred of Hermes remained in that blessing of hers - Illusion, I believe - and aided her in battle.
She was an excellent tactician and one of the better commanders I had seen. Though, I must admit, she never was too good at single combat. Had her loyalty been anything less than absolute, I’m sure Frosthelm would have scooped her up.
Hesperos, on the other hand, was more of a metalworker than a general. Much of his time was spent forging new armor for our armies, all from that curse of his.
I never did get to see how he was in combat, though perhaps that was for the best, seeing as the king would ask me to tend to him. I’d never be able to treat a Curse User. Even I have my limits.
The Jester? Irenaeus continues to be the most pleasant person I’ve had the joy of meeting. Jokes without end and many stories that enthralled all who would listen.
…I couldn’t stand to look at them for more than a few moments, that last night. After the battle had ended.
The Advisor?
I have nothing to say about him. Well, other than the fact that he was a…
The Queen? She was quite the kind soul. One of the few of the upper class to truly care for the impure. She saw their plight as something out of their control and often offered them masks to hide their faces from the gods, so that when we all ascended, the gods would be tricked into taking them along with us.
…and, of course, the King. Naught but a fool. He believed we could ascend to the plane of the gods, take their place as rulers of all creation. He built Gilduram on that misguided idea. The moment he realized that divinity was unreachable, he tried to bargained with Thanatos. The ensuing plague was surely the result of whatever occurred.
In some way, he did achieve some form of immortality. Not in a way he would have wished, of course. Old Agelaos, forever trapped in time, on the brink of death but unable to die. He ensnared us all. Until he moves on, we cannot.
That shit is spooky
especially the coward bit
(super cool tho)
You know, it’s rare that I see a modeler trying to tell a full story with their models, and I wanted to say that I’m massively impressed by what you did here.
