What do we know about dawn island? Do people even live there?

I know you can’t leak but can you at least tell me if people live there
Seeing as in the lore doc it refers to Dawn Island as abandoned, that most likely means that nobody lives there. This also opens up the possibility of it previously being inhabited since it can’t be abandoned in the first place if nobody was ever there at all.

for some reason theres 2 cutscenes including you washing up on dawn island. one is just you waking up, and the other one is you lying down in front of a crashed rowboat. maybe something went wrong when you first left

I have a feeling that the clip with the camera coming down from the sky starts first and then it cuts to the other clip as they start to stand up
