Spirit weapon attacks are derived from spirit energy, while a conjurer’s weapon attacks (even unimbued) are still magic. Trying to make up for the problems of an inferior magic by imbuing proper magic onto them (even if they don’t synergize) is something I dislike. However, mixing spirit energy and magic isn’t like this - you’re improving your magic by taking the properties of spirit energy and combining them with your magic’s benefits. The weapons themselves are also rarely conventional, being more akin to relics.
While it could be argued that fighting styles fall in the same boat, I was argue against. Not only do fighting styles act as a much more unique application of “aura”, they can actively synergize with a magic due to their property. It’s just enough to not be hated, but I still prefer Warlords, Knights, Juggernauts, Paladins, and all the pure builds.
More accurate would be Introduction Apocalypse, but yeah. Influx of new forumers introducing themselves all around the same time. Coincidence, probably.
