Just asking so that I can finally decide my gear build.
This pertains to pve and pvp situations.
Is 85 agility almost no different from 0 agility?
How much agility is needed to make it effective?
Most importantly, is it a must have stats?

I’d say it is worth having in both situations
I personally would not say it is a must have but it could be worth investing in if agility is good for your play style
And the other two questions will have to be answered by someone else I can’t answer those
85 agility is enough so that you dont need to charge your tjumps while holding 2 objects to get from dock to shipwright of rubica
Btw, which is better
104 power
830 Def
340 Attack Speed
Or
104 power
830 Def
85 Agi
274 Attack Speed
How about in pvp tho, is it very useful or it just feels like normal and just a very little change
uh
you dash slightly further
i have 101 agility on my main file and it goes much faster than my second file which has like 23 agility
After the upcoming agility rework you might not even need it!
Must have? Nah
For swimming underwater its very handy. Not a must but with swimming gems can double the swimming speed.
For PvE in general its eh. More meaningful stats is usually better.
For PvP. Only if you cant catch your targets or cant escape them otherwise nah.
And the agility to be made effective is up for you to decide really since any point into agility is one less point into power or defense.
Best reason to have agility.
its a drug
once you use it, you wont ever be able to get rid of it
id say that it helps make the game more enjoyable, but not a necessity
agility increases swim speed?
Oh yes it does!
At about the same rate it increases running speed.
And swimming gems multiply the sum of speed after agility.
So if you have enough agility to increase running speed by 50% and have gems that increase your swimming speed by say 80% that would give you about 270% total speed on water.
Which might not be the best build in terms of combat stats but you could outswim sharks and maybe even outswim a brig!
Most of the time, investing into agility means trying to get Instant High Jump. 100 agility makes a fair difference for sure though.
