So I’ve been wanting to make an Avatar-esque build like from ATLA but it feels kinda counterintuitive; I’d settle for 3 of 4 elements (earth, water, fire, air) as a mage and mutate those later, (at least, that’s how I think mages should work, correct me if I’m wrong) but those 4 magics don’t seem to have any real synergy, Water, fire, and air don’t synergize great, and I’m not too sure about earth magic. Thoughts?
I’d say fuck it, ball and dont care about pure viability. I’m sure it won’t be dead unusable
I think its more replacing than mutating but idk.
Anyways, these magics don’t synergize at all, but that doesn’t really matter. I think people put too much emphasis on synergies when they’ll only really affect high-level PVPers. How much practice you put into PVP will be much more of a determiner of how well you perform than how well your magics synergize. If you don’t plan on becoming a PVP tryhard and just want to experience the game, I don’t think the PVP viability of your magic build will affect your enjoyment of the game at all.
hm…
mk, but could I use the “4 elements” effectively to any extent?
I know viability and synergization don’t have to be a part of a build but I feel like my build personally might feel weak in comparison to others which is a bit lame imo.
Why not go sumn like metal, air and ice since an avatar could technically do that and they all go well together
water, wind, and earth would work well
do a mage build
earth+fire = magma
or
wind + water = storm lost magic
