Go toward windrow, it’s near there
You need to dock your boat and take control of it first. After this, the sailboat (along with some other ships) will spawn.
can someone eplain to me WHY the npcs got infinite stamina in water, they destroying my ship cuz it got no hp
this is like the worst part of the story to play through for this exact reason
first your ship probably has 0 hp, then all the ravenna npcs follow you to windrow and start attacking you again even though youre supposed to have escaped them (this in particular happened on my first full playthrough when the game first released all the way up to my most recent one… please fix this)
Tbh i don’t know why vetex dosen’t fix that, its just painfull
vetex makes your ship repair at the start of leaving mistral, why cant it repair here?
Idk I honestly didn’t even see the mission change in my first playthrough. I went straight for windrow island. The sailboat either destroyed itself by accident, or it just gets destroyed/ignored if you make it to windrow, idk.
In my 11 files of playing through this part of the story, I’ve NEVER destroyed the sailboat. Because the moment I get close to try and destroy it, the other ships would get close to me, and the moment I hear a single “!”, I know my laptop is getting cooked. And then that means I have a low health ship when I respawn, which means now I have literally no way to outrun them towards Windrow. Because guess what, the ships are faster than mine AND then NPCs don’t get tired in water. So, you know, that’s cool. Also Sharks.
you shouldn’t even have to sink the sailboat ngl
fr, why you gonna make me stop, get off my ship (WHILE BEING CHASED) to beat these guys up who ain’t even bothering me with their one cannon per side.
Yeah. Like, it’s supposed to be a getaway thing, not a “we need to go specifically to where they are, we’re gonna need to fight through”. Our boat can’t shoot backwards unless you have a mortar, so forget that option because unless you have a brig, it’s literally unusable.
Trying to engage with the sailboat that is surrounded with enemy ships is literally just suicide. Especially when you need to go all the way to windrow.
Make it so that destroying it is an option as a little extra for the quest. Morden tells you that the safest bet is to make it out of there, and Iris being the hotheaded dumdum she is, tells you to burn at least a sailboat to either send a message or just get rid of a few enemies. So that you know BOTH options are viable.
