Is it wrong to have Lex Luthor levels of dislike, hate even, towards a writer who makes a character you really like, but they do stuff to their character that makes them look like a “pathetic fool”? The end result of such writing resulting in said character having tons of slandering fanworks being made of them? Dooming you to see your favorite character be portrayed in such slanderous ways in those fanworks? Is it wrong to have such levels of disdain towards that writer…? And no, this post is not in relation to a certain cataclysm user. That’s silly! That’s absurd…

any ordinary person would instead write a 100k word fanfic about said character but I guess you can also just hate the author instead

Don’t think this is the healthiest coping mechanism. Better one is to make fan-content of the character showing everyone how cool they are.
