I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and I’m starting to see how juggernauts can actually be quite strong.
-First of all, they get spirit weapons, while we aren’t sure what these do exactly, it could prove to allow juggernauts to adapt to a more zoner style gameplay if needed, or who knows? anyway, this fact lets juggernauts have a more diverse moveset.
-Secondly, though they have less energy, they also have more survivability, allowing you to get very close to your enemies (something that the strength stat is all about) while not worrying so much about your HP. On top of that, with stuff like musgravite and coppershrooms, energy isn’t a huge issue to begin with.
-Third, Juggernauts will get access to axe slash in the nimbus sea level cap raise, allowing them to have a good projectile move. While Berserkers already have this and more, they might not have as much survivability as a tradeoff.
-Finally, Having more natural HP allows juggernauts to invest in stats like power and attack speed, causing them to hit extremely hard and fast, as well as having a comfortable HP stat.
What do you think? This is all just my opinion, but some of these points are definitely worth considering.
Do you also think juggernauts and paladins will be able to imbue their FS/magic onto spirit weapons?
my counterpoint to this is that I’m pretty sure noone we know about has gotten so allergic to grass that they’ve managed to minmax builds to get the most hp/damage.
so far it’s still more easier and generally better to go beserker and invest in some defence
It’s actually quite easy to get a bunch of swift gear + a carina set tbh
Now ileg berserker sounds like a smart idea and overall better but you also gotta remember you’re sacrificing an FS slot to achieve such tankiness, and, also investing in more defense gear, whereas with juggernaut, you theoretically wouldn’t need to.
Tbh sailornaut sounds actually super scary
Anyways yeah obviously berserker could be more superior in some aspects but in my defense, juggernaut isn’t even a complete build, but the fact that is has this much potential already is quite promising in my eyes.
I mean, as of now, they can be built to be a threat like the other vit builds, even though pure builds still overshadows their vit counterpart (maybe aside from Knight)
I do wonder how good Selino is and if its capable of making Juggernaut atleast decent
anyways though the reason I say that juggernaut might be a very strong vit class is because it capitalizes off of the rushdown attribute extremely well via adding bulk to cause juggernauts to get closer to their opponents easier.
And it opens up slots for stats like attack speed, agility, and power
