Is magic speed applied additively or multiplicatively to a magic's speed affinity?

Simple question - does magic speed add a flat amount of speed to spells, or does it apply multiplicately with the magic’s speed affinity?

If it’s additive, that’s good for slow magics - you could get Gold Magic to around the same speed as Wood Magic.
Obviously the reverse for multiplicative - we could get a 2.6x speed Light Magic this way.

From testing, it appears that it is multiplicative since the blast spell speed of Light with full magic speed is comparable to the speed of a Gold beam.

Does this mean we know the relative speed of a beam compared to a blast?

Not exactly yet, but that’s as far as I can conclude with that one observation.
