He was like just chilling at the one shot pirates’ capital during the events of AO
and how did his ass actually transfer himself into a statue
As AO happens sometime after AA concludes, Poseidon is very much dead
Wild misinformation
Poseidon was, I’m pretty sure, 2nd division commander. Arthur pretty much packed up like the first ten divisions or something and went to fight Durzcheron (idk how many actually but Poseidon was there).
One family feud (zombie Zeus) and he fucking dies before being revived by Achurza.
Who fed you this information
I think we should be asking where the statue came from.
Sure, some people in the War Seas follow a religion of the gods, but where are the rest of them? If the water is constantly flowing into the hole, how did it not flood before Poseidon started caring about it?
mount othrys existed before the fracture, and the temple is described as “ancient” iirc
so you are telling me the temple to the water god has weird interactions with water???
Well I don’t expect his undivided attention to be on putting this water back at the top of the lake around his temple.
Then why is it a statue of Poseidon? Which guy living on Mount Othrys was Poseidon’s biggest fan?
He is a GOD he does not need to have undivided attention
also Poseidon in Greek myths wasn’t using 100% of his energy on every individual wave and tide
Plot convenience, it could have been of any god this doesnt need any specific explanation. Poseidon honestly makes more sense because he was around for a good while after the fracture and was most likely more well known
So all gods have the power of multitasking?
So now that he’s dead, the ocean is supposed to just not move anymore?
yeah, what were you expecting zeus to personally oversee every lightning strike in existence
ok so you know how its literally explained in game that gods never truly die
as said during the Awakening, Posideon is “Dead” as in his body is dead. The spirit of a God will not die, and waits dormant forever unless something happens which leads to their body being reformed.
I’m just imagining Poseidon out on the town with the boys from the Oneshot Pirates and he gets distracted flooding a town 80 miles away.
I think 2nd is AR lore. In AA it goes:
Captain - Arthur
1st Division Commander - Poseidon
2nd Division Commander - Apollo
3rd Division Commander - Arsen
Yes our GOAT Arsen was just below the gods
I guess we have no confirmed information regarding the Apollo’s identity, they could be just a human called after the god. The main reason after this theory is that Poseidon was frequently introduced as the God and Arthur’s friend, but Apollo was mentioned only as a master of some magic, just like other high ranking people in that army.
Btw, if I am wrong rn and it was actually confirmed, then I would ask for the screenshot, cuz similar discussion was already brought once and ended without results.
I don’t deny this option. But I would say that they don’t die naturally, but we cannot be sure, if they cannot die on their own wish.
I think this part is still a pretty questionable thing. We have no knowledge on what happens to Poseidon’s soul after getting accepted by MC, was it just absorbed or continues to live inside them?
According to Terry Prachet, a god dies when he no longer has worshippers
Unlikely for it to work in AO, assuming their origins and nature.
Bro was an idiot, lowkey.
He needed to specify what he meant by that, because in many cases that’s dead wrong.
God I hate “philosophers”.
would you like to specify why its dead wrong
i think he has a point
Do you mean Terry Patchett?
