this fighting style involves drinking a lot of seawater, and obviously drinking several liters of saltwater in a short time wouldn’t actually make you drunk and give you superhuman strength. but in this world, it’s because the water is magic-irradiated, which is also how the peacekeeper had a lot of magic energy in them to begin with. discuss

It’s not magic but the concept uses magic energy to boost you, it’s like how Weapon Aura is technically just subconscious magic energy

i feel like sailor fist would still be magic-based in a very “technical” sense. something like radius fist is strictly “willpower” based, no idea about weapon auras though
it’s been said that fighting style and weapon users still use magic subconsciously to strengthen themselves, so it’s possible that effects like sailor fist’s water and iron leg’s leg are just unintentional magic

Sailor fist in game uses “Water meter” that is getting replanished via “Bottle of sea water” or smth. We have no idea how they can be filled again, perhaps even just walking in water is enough, or maybe you need to buy them, who knows. We dont.

PK - peacekeeper is techincally an undead made of magic ash, so they was litteraly magic if you think really hard. Made out of magical magic involving magic in the magical water.

Sea water indeed contains magic pollution in it, buuuuut its not enough to permanently boost person. While other builds charge their energy, Sailor fist do it artificialy via sea bottles. (At least i think so)
It does not involve the creation of a magic circle so by the modern definition of magic in the Arcane Universe, no it is not. It does however still use the magic energy latent in your body and seawater
When you’re in seawater with empty bottles in your inventory then there’s a button to refill them, also simply submerging your head in water can fill the meter

sailor style is so conceptually weird ngl I get that the seawater is magical or some shit but does this imply that there’s other liquids or things usually considered not the best to consume that “boost” the player as well? are we gonna start eating wooden planks and get access to carpenter style in the future?
I mean it’s a fun simple replacement to Alcohol with Swaying Fist in AA

actually having a wood curse must be crazy because if someone blows a hole into your ship you can probably just undo that immediately. then you’d never fall into the water
