Shipping is an absolutely essential factor in how we transport bulk goods around the world. Without any kind of delivery system in modern society, we would struggle heavily with all sorts of assets in life and infrastructure would not be able to exist.

That is by no means cringe.

i hate when people ship characters together in a fighting game or something, they are not trying to love eachother, they are beating the shit out of each other and i don’t want your words to ruin my look on them

Ships are basically the only way of getting around effectively in AO. The other options being

  • Icebergs
  • Lost Cargo
  • Ice/Magma magic
  • Swimming
  • Wind intensity friend.

But I find many of those ineffective at times and unreliable, so I usually use a 86 speed caravel which has the addition of doing a crap ton of ram damage.

Cargo or characters romantically?

If romantically, I suppose it depends on personal taste. Like with most things, it is perfectly fine to have a bit of fun with shipping different characters. So long as it is done tastefully and in moderation. Unfortunately when a lot of people are into a fandom, they can share a common ship or have a myriad of alternatives. All of which would love to share their preference in order to find like minded individuals so that they can gush about it together. Even create fanart and literature about it.

Unfortunately, not everyone has the same taste. So when they see a" ship" they don’t agree with, or dare I say find repulsive and irrelevant to the plot of the game like,
“Oooohhh this is a xxx game, there shouldn’t be any romantic interactions cause its not relevant to the story, blablabla”

they WILL contest or argue against it to merely state their point. It would be better if people ignored it and moved on but for reasons unknown, people seem to feel the need to let it be known that they don’t agree with it. And i think its annoying.

Just… Be mindful and respectful, and ignore ppl who says otherwise about what u like, no need to argue to them about it (its pointless)
