Just recently, I visited and explored Shieldguard for the first time and decided to see what was on all pillars/sea stacks.
What I’ve discovered is quite shocking: Six corpses, three of which are visibly not affiliated with the Grand Navy, and one that belongs to an unknown animal.

Just what could have happened here for several bodies -some armoured, some not- to be found with knives stabbed into them?
My guess is that before the creation of Shieldguard, the Grand Navy had someone clean the locals up. Of course, take this with a grain of salt as there is no information regarding this whatsoever, only that the people who these corpses belong to weren’t a part of the Grand Navy as seen due to their lack of blue pauldrons/uniform armour.
Just who could they have been? And what beast did these bones belong to (I doubt that it’s those of a Vastus hybrid, considering their shape)?
If these bones truly belonged to an animal, wouldn’t that be an indication of wildlife on this now-dead island? Could this be a sign of mankind’s environmental destruction?
Who knows? I leave this topic for you people to speculate with, after all, I’ve not yet seen signs of people finding all of these.
