Let me explain, its theorized because Old sea was south and the people sailed north to the seven seas, the old sea was probably south america while the seven seas were north america. Also this is because mount olympus is said to be in the war seas region, so the war seas is supposedly greece and italy seeing as othrys is a real mountain in greece so why not have the seven seas as the northern americas? WAIT BUT THIS MEANS EVERYONE IN THE SEVEN SEAS IS NATIVE AMERICAN BECAUSE THIS WAS ALL WAY BEFORE THE AGE OF EXPLORATIONA ND CONQUISTADORS SO NATIVES STILL INHABITED THE AMERICAS!?!?

tbh i’m not entirely sure on the different sea clusters representing continents, cause the entire world got jumbled up from the fracture which is why we have both like scandinavian and japanese cultures in one sea cluster, which were pretty far apart geographically
They could be, but they could also be any other ethnicity cause the fracture essentially scattered humans from all different cultures around the world (without killing them somehow). That’s why there’s japanese-inspired and middle-eastern inspired cultures in both the seven seas and war seas despite the fact that they’re on opposite sides of the planet. Same goes for the people in the seven seas overall (dang it sock beat me to this point

Presumably the fracture and probably a lot of migration in the 1000 years people had magic and eventually curses led to a lot of people being in different areas then they or their ancestors are native too. Cursebeard and Theos were in the seven seas and we know they’re from england. I don’t think there’s a confirmed ethnicity for either of the MCs yet, but they could both really be anything.
