Is there a reliable way to open my inventory?

I know this topic sounds like a joke very much… But as of recent (as in a little before the Easter Update) i’ve been completely unable to open my inventory at all!

I do have a lot of of items… Thousands at the least! But it would only like like 5 seconds to load. Now everytime I try and open my inventory, the Roblox window times out and the game crashes.

Have any of you happy people had this problem and is there a way to solve it? I also cant load it into merchant shops, so I am unable to sell piles of useless items. Because I want to redo some of my build and my vanity but I am barred from doing so! Thank you

have someone else take them from your inventory

Fair point, that would take a really long time though

It can’t be fixed without giving up said inventory as alexthecat stated, something that can only be done through sending trades which all take a while to load as well.
Your best bet is to play on other files until an update remedies this issue.

Remember they added the new crafting UI so no need to look for food or reagents just try to keep your most needed items on hand and avoid other random clutter

I’ve been having this issue as well except that my laptop doesn’t crash when I open it luckily, I just need to wait for a few seconds for it to load and uhtill it does my game freezes completely

try using the text only items, and if not then yeah clearing might be the only way

i’ve found a method that works

so first i open my ship menu which doesn’t crash me then i open my backpack then i open the trade menu with someone and i don’t crash then in the trade menu i switch to a tab with the least amount of items finally i can open my inv without crashing tho do be warned if you die you have to repeat the process otherwise you will crash

if i join and just open my inventory i crash :sob:

just… cap items, de-randomize levels, and have sort by rarity the default…
PLEASE…

we just need less, a LOT less crap items in the loot pool. why on earth do we still find poor amulets for example?

my method is by press tab while placing my cursor somewhere that would be the tool or material (was it called material?) tab then quickly click on it so the game load only stuff in that category, which so far should have less item to load than other category.

Idk if this will work on everyone but when i let my inventory load only stuff in tool tab, i can click on all category with no problem.

Darn, this kinda sucks… I wanted to play on my main file but I suppose there is notvung wrong with making an alt and playing just because the inventory doesnt

Would going into settings and making your items display as plain text instead of models potentially help?
