Is there any item that gives more defense than this?
I already have armoured jewel amulet with 5 painite, and omen cloak with 2 painite. I’m wondering if there’s another item I can put in that slot to get more defense, or if i’m at the highest possible defense for this update.
you could try imbued armoured titanium pauldrons with double painite but this seems pretty good already
Imbued on titanium pauldrons gives the same defense as frozen, that’s around 200 less defense than gilded

it’s a boost to the base stats of an item, you find it in sky charts

I’m stupid there are no omen accessories.
New modifier found from nimbus sky island treasure charts.
it increases all stats with this multiplier formula:
(0.8 + (numStats * 0.2)) / numStats
so for instance, one stat would be 1x, two would be 1.2x, split between them.
iirc it’s 4.5 defense per ten levels, 1.5 substat, or 0.5 power per ten.
so, if you had a piece with only defense, you would get 77 defense at level 170. if you had a piece with power and defense, you would get 46 defense and 5 power.
It’s also the same formula for fusing gems.

There’s omen cloak, but I already have that.
I have omen cloak, jewel amulet, and gilded titanium pauldrons, all armoured and all w/ fused painites. I’m trying to figure out if there’s something that gives more than armoured gilded titanium w/ painite so I can try to get my defense even higher. Otherwise, I am at the highest possible health this patch
Shields if you haven’t got them yet give defense while equipped
I already have a spiked tower shield for 224 defense. I’m exclusively looking for an accessory that might give more defense than gilded titanium pauldrons w/ painite other than omen cloak or jewel amulet
