If its anything related to homing… its a horrible idea.
If theres reliable way to get enough of it to make projectiles have INCREDIBLY strong homing while retaining average power and decently high size, Mage will instantly be the best class again as they’ll have a way to have FULLY UNDODGABLE attacks that do good damage.
i thought about it for a while and i don’t think accuracy will be that bad
sure i agree that fundamentally there shouldn’t be a stat that plays the game for you but i don’t think it’s gonna be like a balancing nightmare
if anything it’d be like atk size where it’s a crutch stat that good players don’t use anyway
Attack size is still incredibly painful to fight against.
As to why, Placed Explosion spam.
Recently watched a Metal mage fight an agility attack speed conjurer (which is meta btw) in elysium, the conjurer couldn’t do anything because the placed explo spam clashed away all their attacks and was too large to avoid.
Not having to aim because your projectiles do it for you is going to cause as much of a problem as that, if not even greater.
20 blasts will become viable, maybe even the meta, as none of them will be able to miss and the damage will stack up incredibly fast.
well yeah but at a certain skill level someone with a normal build will always beat someone with a goofy atk size build cus the size user would just get hard punished the nano second they try to cast anything
i used to be a pro-agility but after fighting several agility users that are constantly flying all over the place while using no agility i changed my mind really quickly.
at least if you fight high atk size, you can counter them with blocks and skill
if you fight high atk spd, you can dodge their attacks easier
if you fight agility you literally cant do anything besides using a massive atk size build or using tons of agility yourself, and even then when they get low theyll run away, heal, and come back
also with pvp toggle coming, if you dont want to pvp you can toggle it and there’s no need for using agility to run anymore. the one objective downside to agility being removed is convenience when travelling
everyone who cries about agility is just some pvphead who plays this game only to pvp and nothing else because their entire life is pvp for some reason like chill pvp is not that good idk do a chart or 2. imo agility should be removed for combat but kept for travel and out of combat shit or at least kept in pve because it’s sooooo much easier to climb those tall ass dark sea islands with max agility or run across othrys with max agility it’s literally PAINFULLY SLOW without it and makes me wanna kms when i have to climb another spire that’s 555555555 meters tall and out of the skybox

honestly i’m not gonna miss clan building imo it’s a worthless pointless feature with practically no use idk why vetex wanted it so bad it’s so pointless i used it once and never again cuz it’s a waste of time effort and money lmfao i could just go to the dark sea and get 10 lilies instead of growing one per half hour or whatever the rate is
it’s like the hecate essense gamepass if you don’t wanna grind just buy it for an obscene price i already buy coal at 500 per piece for my deckhands on my other slots cuz i can’t be bothered to destroy 5 million rocks for 50 chunks of coal
