Is warren the only living grand fire curse user?

My point was that doesn’t equate to him being untouchable. You said that he could singlehandedly destroy the order which I believe he wouldn’t be able to do. The order will have extremely powerful members later down the line

You’re using grand fire curse user as if that automatically equates to being a god+multiple order members could possibly take Ren on, i didn’t mean just one. Besides our characters potential is unknown and considering how we are by no means a normal human we can’t speculate our potential.

Tringo??? It’s been shown in the past that certain curse users can suppress their curses personality and live normally.

My favorite character Tringo

Also a terrible example because he does not live normally wtf. He’s part of the one shot pirates which countless people fear and have been killed by.

He never had a curse while being a member of the one shot pirates lol

Mb, afterwards was still a pirate and all of those things apply

Yeah but it was said that he turned towards a more peaceful life after having defeated rupin. He left his crew and life as a pirate behind. Which to me doesn’t scream angry and impatient

explanation of atla and fire bending philosophies

atla is short for avatar the last air bender, it has a magic system where people can control one of four elements (water, air, eath, or fire) except for the avatar who can learn all of them

in the show, the fire nation is generally shown to fit your view point of fire being destructive and consuming as their main goal is to conquer the world and spread their empire

the first fire bending teacher that the main character encounters also agrees with this, saying that fire causes nothing but pain and destruction and wishing they had never been born a fire bender

however, there’s a tribe of fire benders unconnected from the fire nation called the sun warriors that treat fire with a different philosophy, viewing it with a “calm yet fiery demeanour” according to the wiki, as well as focusing on the life giving and creative aspects as opposed to its destructive qualities

these two nations show that while fire can lead to irrationality and hotheadedness, it can also be calm and controlled

Likely also because he stopped using magma meaning it had less influence over his personality

Presuming that Warren has lived for hundreds of years and has had time to train with the Inferno Curse he absolutely could and should be able to.

I suppose. Regardless of strength, though, getting to the point where we possess more raw strength and aptitude than the Inferno Curse user would be a bit mental.

Trigno absolutely took on the properties of his curse. His personality quite literally erupts like a volcano, going from silent and calm to explosive and destructive. That’s literally the point, man. The personality of Curse users is meant to mirror their element.

You guys are essentially equating the qualities of the Fire Curse to the qualities of the Magma Curse. Fire is burning, hot and aggressive. While Magma is smoldering, and calmer and collected than fire is.

This could also be the case with Ren. He could be using it I’m extremely small amounts over a long time (he is retired after all meaning he most likely hasn’t fought in a while)

I see no reason for him to use inferno at windrow if he’s trying to minimize its usage

Just because he’s lived for hundreds of years doesn’t mean hes had the curse for that long infact I believe he must have got it after he retired because if he had it in battle he wouldn’t refer to it as his secret. This would mean that he hasn’t been able to master the curses offensive potential.

He eventually managed to leave those behind though

A simple flight wouldn’t take that much energy

Yes it would when morrock literally feared using any spell

It’s not about energy, it’s about how much it’d effect them which any spell can do

No magma also had quite a similar angry effect on tringo he managed to suppress it though.

Also idk how many times i have to say this but what rupin had wasn’t just because of the curse it was mainly due to his past

Morrock feared using offensive spells, never said anything about him passively using it.
Besides the promethean fire curse is a whole other level, and Morrock had mastered that near perfectly

You literally have 0 argument for him having inferno curse other than “he uses inferno” in which the ancient magic would already make him incredibly powerful. The curse is a ridiculous assumption when everything we know about his personality points in the opposite direction.

My main argument was his secrecy of his power and him being labelled as a target of the order.

Which the ancient magic would already do

We’ll just have to wait and see
