Hello, I am The Chitinous One, or simply just Shrimp. I began playing AO maybe late 2024? I don’t fully remember. I’ve deleted several files, but my primary current file is Adriel Rio. I prefer Explosion magic the most, but I’ve also had lots of fun with Magma, Lightning, and Light. Originally, I did use Explosion magic, but sailed into the Dark Sea to change to Earth, and now I regret my decision deeply. I will change back some day. I’m also currently working on a villain file named Ronan Gael for when I’m feeling nefarious.
I’m a huge fan of the game and would love to be able to contribute something meaningful to it, I’ve had some ideas bouncing around in my head. Unfortunately, this is not the suggestions category and I don’t want to get sent to the deep fryer by the staff. I’m also new to all this forum stuff so I still have to get used to this new set of hands.

However, why Mage? You said you deleted several files, were there some hybrid builds? I suppose, since you deleted them, you didn’t like them that much

It was mainly because I’d rarely use them. Some of them were hybrids, but they just didn’t tickle that specific part of my brain that Mage does.
Have you tried a Paladin?
I have not. I still have to try stuff with the new Spirit weapons.

And they aren’t that much different from Weapons and Magic. A bit disappointing, sure, but they still are interesting to play with. I recommend getting 160 Spirit - you’ll get access to so many things on the Patrimony, it’ll be worth it
