That’s an ideal plan, but considering that isn’t being used in any game even outside roblox shows that it isn’t effective ngl, at the very least none that I know of.

Lego game mods are very funny. Mm yes my incredibly flawed anticheat is absolutely infallible. Got banned because of a coin flip? Just break the rules and make an alt buddy, can’t appeal ur ban because we’re always right and make no mistakes. =)
Data wipe does nothing because they can just modify drop rates to get anything in a few hours. If you mean confirmed exploit bans, they’re pretty much people who tried to appeal but got checked to be exploiting.
Mb, I just remembered that roblox doesnt necessarily require emails for creating accounts. Even then, they still have an account creation cooldown where they would eventually autoban the account for suspected botting if they make a lot of accounts in a week.
Banning their account and any alt just inconvenience them by waiting for a week to get back to exploiting in the game. Not doing so and just unbanning them removes that inconvenience. If they have already existing accounts, then all they would do is burn through them. Otherwise, people like yog would still be going wild in the game but that isn’t happening because they aren’t gonna bother making an account every week just to have one goofy day.
what’s preventing them from just modifying drop rates on a fresh account? is it somehow easier to do on a data wiped account that had a lot on it before? how or why?
The point isn’t if it’s easier to do or not, banning them and having them be inconvenienced every time they want to make an account in a week would just discourage them on exploiting in the game every day. They’re free to change their ways but that doesn’t mean it absolves them from exploiting.

Making an alt is 100% allowed, expect if you’re chase banned but that only happens if you’ve done something really fucked up.

I think he meant that at that point, why not just unban the permanently banned account instead of telling them to make an alternative account. He’s confused since it does the same thing and unbanning would just be better, at least that’s what I’m getting at from what he said.
If you’re confident they’re not going to do it again, then just data wipe the account that was banned and unban them.
Make an appeal if you haven’t gotten your second opinion quite yet, if you haven’t gotten it I can’t say for sure whether it will be looked it at but it’s worth a try. Also I would just like to clarify some things I’ve seen in this thread while I’m here. So I know a lot of the time it seems like we deny appeals or ignore things without a second thought however we actually do put in a lot of effort into each appeal and report as there is ALOT that goes on behind the scenes that you don’t see. It’s because chasebanning every exploiter is extremely unrealistic, and loosing all your progress serves as the punishment so people don’t exploit. So we tell people to play on a alt because as I said loosing the progress is the punishment so they likely won’t do it again, if we just unban them afterwards then there’s not really a proper punishment. Also yes we could data wipe them but again it’s the making them play on a alt that’s the big punishment for a lot of people.

Doesnt matter lol, they haven’t experienced appealing for a perm ban so anything relating to badmouthing game mods are what they would like to believe, it’s in our human nature as well to believe negative things anyways.
Anything you say would just be used against you all until one of you eventually reveal how you guys check someone if they exploited or not. I can at the very least believe you guys when you said you can check if someone exploits or not since I got unbanned from false flagging the item anticheat when I unknowingly collected items at Thorins when the unlimited spawn server exploit was a thing.
