My alt account has connections to my main account, and I used it before the ban because I wanted to experiment with other magics and playstyles
They said that you can “create” an alt, but they didn’t say anything about old ones.

I believe that I don’t need more than 1 word to prove this accusation false. To deny something, there should be something.
I don’t know their intentions, but I can clearly see that those words about alts cannot be viewed as mod’s incompetence.
They should really just make an alt. I would suggest using Medal to prevent future problems.
Can you actually not read? “AT THE TIME OF THEIR BAN”, you are perfectly allowed to make an alt and play on it, except for chase bans but those are exceedingly rare
How does a chase ban work?
they trace all ur alts and ban you, also will keep an eye on you so you dont make another alt
It’s a very rare scenario were they’ll trace any and all future alts and ban them too. The only one I know off is NmzDimitrie’s
How do they do that? Through the ban api thing? which can check if u have alts?
Any alt that they can prove is yours is banned
Though can’t a person make a fresh alt and have no connections to the main to be able to play?
They’re not allowed too if it’s a chase ban

I can wait another year to appeal again, since I don’t want to send so many appeals I get banned from the vetcord

Evidence you have:
- It occured 2 years ago (in those 2 years you have tried to appeal)
- A screenshot
- The fact an exploiter wouldn’t try to appeal (they would just make an alt)
- It was at a time where the anti-cheat was buggy
This is stupid. They don’t have any arguement to ban you, at least not permanently (Since an anti-cheat ban would normally not last too long). I’m no lawyer but they also tell you to make a new account to play, so it makes no sense that an old account can’t, even if they wipe your data which could allegedly have “exploited” items and start you back fresh. is it possible for me to appeal?
also were you apart of the 14-karats perchance? i remember seeing someone there get banned from chests.
i also got banned 1.5 years ago or smth idk but i will say that i was exploiting (ion care anymore about it this point but might try to get an appeal on full release). but you might have a higher chance of getting unbanned in the future cuz there is not the AO in it.

Would a mass unbanning wave for permbanned people be good for full release? Aside for people with concrete evidence/really bad things, the anticheat and mods are alot better noe, so any real hackers will just get banned again. Ofc only on the game tho, not vetcord or forums
The chest anti-cheat has bean proven multiple times now it has 0 false positives, but even then game mods have a tool that can check if the anti-cheat is right by checking stuff manually, obviously i can’t share what it is but anyways, i’d check myself, but i’m not a gamemod anymore
point 2: screenshot are extremely easily modified and when i was a gamemod i have seen exploiters fabricate even videos to try to get an appeal only for me to notice errors they commited due to videos not matching the file stats at time of the ban etc

point 4: the chest anti cheat was never buggy, there were some buggy anti-cheat related to dark sea at some point and other cases, but NEVER chest anti cheat
I forgot to mention the reason they force you to make an alt and not just wipe your data is because they deem barring access to the game from your main account as a punishment by itself, i have no opinion on this, just explaining why they simply don’t just do data wipe and let you back in
