LiterallyLoki this looks like a job for you
(Should I tag them?)
First of all, morning/evening people! Hope everyone is having a good day/night. @DukeUngriffiaOffical , you can tag me whenever you want, and thank you for tagging me @Mr_hyperspace .
One of the major costs of working hard for something like a fantasy world or school, is feeling as if that your brain was worked hard enough. I’m a writer, it happens, I’ll just turn on classical music and relax for an hour after I’ve written a draft.
It seems like, that is taking place, but also simply switching projects and fixations. It isn’t bad to switch projects, I’m proud of you for your motivation, but the lack of working doesn’t mean anything is happening. I’m not fond of AI, so I don’t think browsing ChatGPT is any good, but if you don’t want to get this feeling, I’d recommend a few things.
Tiny little, low effort projects. For me, this is adapting a list of characters I enjoy to video games. Bucky Barnes in BG3 is pretty fun. You can be tired, you can be burnt out, there’s no shame in that.
I’m proud of you for recognizing your feeling. As long as you’re progressing with your work and projects, I see no problem with some downtime. Just- try to have such downtime be energetic as well. The low energy likely isn’t helping you.
You got this, Archen. I believe in you.

does this mean i shouldn’t try to like minmax my day with as much productivity as possible?
You should try to optimise your day as much as possible, not necessarily with a planned schedule (as that will be detrimental to your brain over a long period of time), but in what you do.
If you can do something right now that you would put off for later, do it right now.
If you’re thinking of doing something but laziness, shyness, etc. stops you, do it right now.
Life is about distracting yourself from boredom and existential dread. Any activity helps with that, meaning that inactivity won’t do anything good to you.
