What the f u c k did I just play
Pretty easy chapter outside of the final boss
First tried the final boss you have a skill issue
Red and blue carried me
You use summons? Lame.
It’s been a couple days since the chapter released how do people already think summons are for noobs
I take the Miyazaki approach of “the game gives it to me, I’m gonna use it”
i lov you red and blue
When did summons get added…
They added them for demo 3
gotta hop on then
Hold on I’m gonna vent about it for a bit
game starts out all silly and happy like the other chapters, obviously you know it’s gonna get at least somewhat spooky because it’s Halloween, but it’s a silly roblox game what’s the worst that could happen? The train gets robbed blah blah blah and then it turns out red and blue are getting ABUSED BY THEIR PARENTS (the throwaway gag characters from chapter 2) and noobador is their uncle who protects them, bit of a hard blow to the games silly reputation but ok, you arrive at the mansion and graveyard and “ooh spooky ghosts” until for some reason all the damn characters start talking about therapy and acceptance and something, which is shortly followed by the kitchen wizard of all characters returning after being actually killed by terry as a ghost, which has some seriously fucked implications I’m not going into right now. Afterward, you touch the sword specifically said to kill you if you touch it if you aren’t pure of heart, and then DIE. Then you get sent to a segment so blatantly ripped from omori I’m convinced the devs specifically got the motivation to finish the chapter entirely because they decided to play it. Where builderman himself tells you he’s trapped in the sword, and you need to defeat your inner demons to escape, “oh hey this is where the therapy part comes in” I thought, “surely there will be some jokes and gags to lighten the mood!” Shortly followed by fucking killing the personifications of your inner demons of greed, depression (it’s not isolation it’s depression, roblox just would smite the game), fear, and then it turns out fears warnings were right and builderman was evil, because they were the PERSONIFICATION OF HATE and then you get sent to LITERAL HELL and have to kill the devil, who is your inner personification of hatred to become pure of heart and escape, and then I never learned what was going on with builderman because I misclicked on the final dialogue option for kitchen wizard (someone tell me what they said pls)
I can now do the funni “with this treasure I summon” with cruel king though so that’s cool
should i play this game if i still have p3r and ff7 on my plate (gotta finish up a few other things first)
It’s pretty short so it shouldn’t take too much of your time
The OST is also an absolutely banger
my brother got a cruel king summon card (what the fuck)
Yes
The great thing about the final boss is that the big attack that is hyped up to basically be a oneshot does 60 damage, which is a oneshot for most people.
However…
Once again having really high health somehow allows you to finish a fight faster than normal
I kid you not, I steamrolled every single enemy up until the final boss, besides some random encounter in the warped manor.
I DEFY YOU, HEART MAN.
Yeah most enemies were an “ow that hurts” at worst.
The final boss on the other hand took about 30 turns for me to even start damaging it because I was spamming focus and icedagger so much
The only real issue I had with good ol’ Hatred was his PK Thunder move
