sounds exactly like the Wrath of the Gods event? Unusual winter (ice curse shit in the 7 seas), flooding, “stars” falling (curses maybe), earthquakes, monsters waking up??? I know I’ve talked about Norse myth parallels way too much already but it’s too good to be a coincidence
There was a discussion at one point that the final boss sequence may mirror the battle of Ragnarok at some point.
Maybe the “Wrath of the Gods” is the beginning…

There is something interesting that did came up that might be related to Tech’s hint
It does seem to match Tech’s pfp
Even though its supposed to be a random miniboss, nothing stops it from being a character in the main story (theres a seperate trello card for non-story bosses).
And some characters in the main cast arent fightable (Morden and Neviro) in the main storg, so its possible that this character is made into a random spawning miniboss so that we have the option to and get a new Spirit Weap
I mean, the guy’s name is blocked, so that means its important (Vetex doesnt want to gatekeep ideas anymore UNLESS it story spoilers)
Iris was a boss so I think its possible for him to join our ranks
Although tbh Neviro is already kind of a knight so I’d rather have someone els3
Whats different from Iris tho is that he spawns randomly somewhere instead of being a set location and in the Main Story. But considering how we dont fight some people of the main cast, its possible this was just done so that we could have an option in getting his Spirit Weap.
Yeah, thats a very good point tho with Neviro. But maybe his armor is styled differently from Neviro’s to differentiate the two. I mean, its stated its dark grey and gold, so theres already a distinction there.
Also, the two would kinda mirror each other as Neviro has Darkness Curse Inheritance, and the other guy has a Spirit Weap blessed by Aether that likely has Light properties.

Averill was an optional mini boss too.
That didnt stop him from being part of the story.
Also neviro left his armor at windrow so who knows if he may actually change style

It’s possible that Durza’s boom weakened the seal of the “ancient being sealed and unsealed throughout History”
I think he might get upgraded to Titanium Armor later as Titanium Armor has the sash that is almost identical to the one Neviro wears.
But that kind of armor isnt the only type of armor after all. And since the miniboss description mentioned that the knight is specifically “heavily armored”, it might be different in the sense that it is more bulkier than the one Neviro wears.
Might make it sound like a cop-out, but I think the ??? is just a placeholder so that Vetex/Tech can think of their name later.

That would be amazing cuz then it may be possible we get a large muscular criminal that wields a great axe and wears a horned helmet with the title of “The Minotaur” that would be really cool and original (please Vetex I NEED Vastira back PLEASE)
