Just Tech doing some trolling

assuming our next ally is also the spirit weapon user, this would be even funnier since he’d have way more vitality than the rest of us (unless of course you’re also playing as a vitality build)

Wait a sec, how did you know it was a Spirit Weap user? (Well… I guess that would explain that Oracle NPC dialogue)

tech said it in the ao q&a

I only remember him saying that one of the new characters will have a bracelet for a Spirit Weap and thats Khalida…

We aren’t getting any characters from Sameria because Nilah needs her generals to at least stay afloat as a nation considering they’re quite literally weak without the protection of Ravenna, at the very least according to the lore. Missing at least one general will be detrimental to the prosperity of Sameria and it doesn’t seem like there’s any other character of note we’ve talked to there.

So pretty much it’s most likely that that person is in Skyhall.

what about edward kenton, he even appears in a few cutscenes

complete crack theory but it does resemble that purple knight boss from wom. i don’t actually think it’s him but i do think it would be fun to see his concept recycled for this game somehow.

he aint in the main group and he aint a relic of the past, I need me some man who looks like hes going to drop dead any moment

This must be a new group member from skyhall. Nothing else can explain the wings, and it HAS to be a character we’ve never seen before.

Oh then I might have misunderstood it but still hoping for a spirit weapon user on the team for the complete set.

I feel like AO is focused around multiple mythologies instead of just Greek.

Keraxe sending very interesting ship called “Fenrir” to the war with Sameria, whose banner shows “Sun” and in mythology it is said that one of the events before Ragnarok started was wolf Fenrir eating sun and moon. (If Skyhall ends up having moon as their banner, I will be doomed).

Plus Order of Aezir with its pretty exotic name.

Other cultures with their own beliefs exist in the AU we’ve known this for a bit, its just that the only one that’s real is the Greek mythos

mfw we watch a kingdom die out for our 2nd sea LOL

this is not real :skull:

Fenrir is not the wolf that eats the sun in Norse Mythos, that is Skoll. Hati, their counterpart, eats the moon, starting the beginning of the end.

Fenrir is the wolf that eats Odin/Wotan. One of Lokis children, they only managed to bind the wolf because Tyr gave it his arm to chew on. As soon as it realized it had been tricked it bit off Tyrs arm.

I don’t expect Keraxe, Asgard and Jotunheim to have anymore than surface level references to Norse mythos.

After a three-year winter, the great flood will begin. The sky will split into pieces and the stars will start falling to earth. The Yggdrasil world tree will crackle from earthquakes and its old leaves will begin to fall off. Ancient monsters will wake up and the earth will groan under their weight.

Fenrir — the links of the Gleipnir chain will burst and the wolf of terror will throw off its ancient shackles. He will devour the sun and the moon and eternal darkness will come. Fenrir will then move on to the last battle, to avenge his capture by the gods.

P.S. - I cannot check if source is false or true, cuz different websites shows different information.

Not reading allat

Skoll & Hati are Fenrir’s kids so its not surprising their acheivements may be stolen by the one big bad wolf of Norse myth.

Oh, thanks for explanation.

Btw, probably this part was the reason why my source had other information.
