What about the fucking flight spell

If I could only pick one between the sailboat and the flight spell id pick the sailboat. This thing is NOT obsoleting boats.

Even with literally infinite Mana, the best this will ever get you is 2 dark sealed chests. And you don’t have infinite mana

Unless you consider flying from Frostmill to Goso a feat that just makes all ships useless this thing is fine. The distance between islands is only getting bigger so this will literally never replace boats

You can use it to move around big islands or go up the steps

this ain’t even possible too since dark sea islands don’t spawn without a ship iirc

This is true. If your ship sinks due to waves the island you’re on might despawn if it’s a really tall one

Also, the fact that in WoM, sprinting drains stamina. I feel like this fact is starting to be forgotten. I think horses were not just to travel faster, but perhaps also prevents stamina drain when travelling too

well the reason why horses would come in handy his when you on a big island and obviously we have airstep and dodge reflexes and high jump but those are limited so it will be better if horses just add on to it and it will be another form of transportation

flying was also in the game, i think that was supposed to be the main method of travel when it comes down to higher levels

in uncapped wom it drained over 80% of my energy before I could even get off the ground lmao

The flight spell absolute tears through your energy when your first get it, so makes sense why the level cap for WoM was so high

plus, I don’t think horses were even confirmed as a planned feature for WoM. The main method of transportation was supposed to be flight.

cant lie, the npc having a sleep schedule was annoying asf. when i want something upgraded id angrily shit in my pants because the metalworker went to sleep

WoM ran perfectly fine for me, maybe not for other people but my computer didn’t mind, my opinion.
