All the named ones (high leveled) have the first name of “Thane”. I assume it to be some kind of titles.
Hairs used by Keraxe NPCs seem to be similar if not identical to the Redwake crew’s hair pool. Colors are similar as well.
Only Thanes ones have hair. Vikings have a couple different helmet types.
Keraxe NPCs do not appear to use FS from what I’ve seen.
Keraxe ships appear to be hostile to pos rep players’, but the NPCs themselves are neutral like Samerian ones.
this assumption is correct, it was (is?) a title used by multiple different cultures, probably including the vikings and thanes were some kind of leader.
I cant get on right now, but the keraxe npcs have a helmet with spikes and helmet with spikes thats counted as a seperate item from the former for some reason
I looked it up and apparently it was a feudal title in England and Scotland to refer to someone who held land for a king. In Scandinavia, it meant “man, attendant, retainer”, and is a cognate with the Old High German degan and Old Norse begn, which both mean “thane”.
You can also get the thane pauldrons, armbands, armor (same model as the Minotaurs armor from WoM) and helmet (same as Minotaurs spiked helmet from WoM, potentially really good for making characters with horns if you cover the helmet part with hair). All are fairly rare as I spent a long time farming the Keraxe ships and was still surprised to see that you can get the Keraxe Viking Sash and helmet.

Pretty sure the establishment of the Danelaw (and conquest of England by Scandinavian Armies) could have occured in England prior to the big durza boom, but unsure since Theos was confirmed to be in England during the Era, and Arthur is implied to have been from there.
