Khaelis' Arcane Shenanigans

It’ll be innately slower paced as per to relate most to WoM.
There’ll likely be some inspiration here and there from AO, but it won’t be like AO’s to a heavy extent.

Once the game is in a good spot, I might introduce more movement options that MrYes a bit ago referenced me to.

Something about that insult was strangely hurtful

I’m going to go stare off into the horizon disappointed now

I apologize, you will get your frostfire magic when mutations release.

frostfire sounds boring though

“Favorite magic: wind”

If you’re going to argue, take it to DMs, I don’t want my topic to be cursed.

Designed the title screen and user interface[1], it still utilizes an older Lamina icon I used, which will be changed for Crowns.

Are you going to make your own hairs and faces for the game or use a kit already made (there’s one on the forums I think)?

I’m currently utilizing my own face style, it’s not really great enough, as it feels far too “cartoony” as opposed to the game’s artstyle, will for sure change it eventually.

For the hairs I’m planning to just use the ones that are publicly available from AO, WITHOUT stealing; I’m loading in the hairs based on their marketplace IDs, changing them to be MeshParts, and optimizing their collision.

Is the goat Minotaur coming back

Yes.

Yippee

I think you mentioned this earlier but are you planning on implementing horses for faster land travel?

Also, I’m not entirely sure what time period Magius is from, but would a railway system for super long distance travel be feasible? Magic powered steam engines sound pretty awesome

Hm… unsure, it might be a possibility, but I’m not at the point where horse travel is needed.

Since Magius is canonically at least 100 years into the future, there could be trains depending on how their technology had progressed along thise 100 years, could be that only certain parts of Magius has it, could be it all has it, really unsure, but it does sound interesting for an idea.

The first steam engine was invented in 1712 so I think it’s entirely possible tbh

Could even be a cool NPC faction, a group of engineers and builders or something trying to make the first continental railway

Somehow not only failed to progress but outright regressed in terms of technology due to the lack of early firearms

Yeah… it’s rather strange, it could be due to the cultures not really working together on things, and hence not sharing technologies.

Either that or vetex really likes the current medieval aesthetic
