Lance or Halberd

You can only choose one, which do you think is better? (Not strictly pvp)

Lance of Loyalty or Lion’s Halberd
  • Lance (rapier)
  • Halberd (greataxe)

Personally, I like the lance more because shining cycle spam and the downwards grab. I like greataxes, but I hate that Halberd loses devastate for seismic slash (it’s a bad move).

Ima choose halberd because I am used to greataxes more than rapiers

Halberd is cooler but Lance is better.

There’s 0 point in hoping for Seismic to ever be good

lance is the cooler option imo

also it’s much better utility wise since shining cycle is pretty busted

halberd because i don’t like swords but do like polearms

Shining cycle is almost as satisfying as carrying the halberd but not quite

The infamous halberd is simply a weaponwith 1 very dope move, seismic slash being bad and skull crusher being very situational, I still like Striking Gale more than Shining Cycle tho.

halberd has only 1 viable move that is quite slow and is really only useful in ganks/wars

lance has 2 and one of them is free damage with almost 0 risk
the other one is the furthest weapon grab in the game with good combo potential
lance is also cleaner so thats a W :money_mouth_face:
winner is pretty clear

Lance cause seismic slash is currently useless even if you hit the opponent with the boulder it will still do nothing

honestly halberd
i get the lance is cool but i cannot get behind the fact that it’s such a bulky reskin on a slim weapon like the rapier
also halberds are cool poleaxes in general are really underrated weapons

smash with big axe

shit i thought you were talking about the weapons in general can i change my vote

I cannot think of one thing you can’t do with a halberd, I mean:

  • Murder
  • Kidnap
  • Working at an orphanage
  • Emergency Demolition
  • Blackmail

Kinda left it at as either abilities or appearance because not everyone has a warlord slot
