Let's just pretend we only see Argos

First time actually painting a person. went horribly, but General Argos doesn’t look too bad

Anyways, I post this both so I can look back on it in 3 years and laugh and so that I don’t have to live with the disgrace of being ashamed :]

That’s pretty good
mine would be worse

Its far from perfect, but you’re telling me this is your first go at it?

Not bad for your first time

I’ve drawn people but never painted them. Aside from rough shapes like in my other paintings

mine would be chicken scratches and random blotches of paint lol, it possibly can’t be worse than mine

please get a youtube account and post your art there also.

Better than what I can draw, so 10/10

blue-haired one looks like a lizard

while i have been drawing for atleast a year now, you have no training, but you end up better than me?

:sob:

As another artist once told me, “Don’t compare your own works too much to others“

There’s always going to be at least one person better than you out there, and it’s fine if you’re not good enough for others, as long as you’re good enough to make yourself feel content for a time.

if you’re happy with what you did that’s what really matters tbh

I wouldn’t say no training. I’ve been drawing and doing watercolour for years. However, paint, especially acrylic, is a very different medium and this is my first proper attempt at painting a human.

I was bothered because even with my 5 year experience, references and sketches beforehand, it still looked like that. One day I will return and give it another bash, but for now I’m going to move onto Lady Carina. I thought of quitting painting arcane odyssey bosses, but the comments of support I got here really pleasantly surprised me. So thank you.
