by iron leg items which ones do you mean
(for example, deluxe iron armor, titanium, etc)
Probably abyssal iron leg strength armour in order to obtain the most resistance in the game (615).
So, either Iron Leg Robes (power) or Iron Leg Armor (defense). The Iron Leg Chestplate (intensity&piercing)would work all the same, but likely wouldn’t be as good considering its other stats.

If Iron leg is your only fighting style you can upgrade and maybe enchant the modified default fighting gear to guarantee that you get the Iron leg version. If you have two styles it’s a fifty-fifty.
That’s not how fighting gear works

I’ve tested it and it does work that way. Magic items change as you equip them to the users magics. Fighting styles are fixed one they change from the generic fighting style gear. If the generic strength items are upgraded they then shift to one of the fighting styles of the person who upgraded them permanently.
It is possible that updates have change that functionality.

Swear I tried this on my FS file like literally two days ago and it didn’t work
The gear has to have no fighting style yet and you have to either enchant or upgrade it to get a fighting style on it. Did your gear already have a fighting style?
