I found out in a Discord Server that LC is free, and so i basically got into my gambling addiction (yet again), got some good stuff, and basically speedrunned Canto I, including the dungeon.
(I need to bleach my eyes after what happened in Canto I…that was wild of a chapter.)
Somehow…my computer can handle the game without lag…which is weird, but i suppose that’s good for now.
Speaking of the game…here’s my team:
The Team is Actually:
1.Seven Association South Section 4 Faust.
2.Rosenpanner Workshop Fixer Meursault, with Pursurance EGO.
3.Rosenpanner Workshop Fixer Gregor.
4.The Pequod First Mate Yi Sang (no longer depressed Yi Sang.).
5.Kurokumo Clan Hong Lu.
So basically…this team is meant to synergise with rapture, tremor and bleed procs (I need to make specific builds for bleed, charge and burn soon.), Meursault’s Pursurance EGO allows me to tremor burst, but i mainly use Chains of Others EGO, because it straight up cripples enemies with the debuffs.
As you can see…My favorite character is Meursault, who…only said like 3 dialogue lines during the entirety of my playthrough.
For normal encounters, i usually yolo the stuff, and mainly go for resonance and Absolute Resonance procs, which does wonders.
For Focused Encounters, i go big brain time and focus on trying to strategically beat abnormalities, or when it’s a boss abno…spam EGO, alot of EGO.
Due to my incredible luck, i got Meursault Pursurance EGO on my first 10 roll, while i got South Section Faust on my second 10 roll.
I also got alot of 00 Stars from those 10 rolls, which luckily synergise with eachother.
We’ll see what i’ll be able to show here, because the game currently…dosen’t have much story content to begin with (according to a person from a discord server, it’s supossed to have 33 Cantos…insane.), and plus…i’ve already speedrunned Canto I, give me harder battles Project Moon.
Canto II’s currently a pretty great twist from the…shit that happened in Canto I, positivity in a Project Moon game? well…i assume it’s gonna take a dark turn soon, when i’ll get to the dungeons, but for now…i can enjoy the story without being flabbergasted at character deaths.
One thing is that…i have a flaw with my strategy:i lack gluttony affinity.
And i need to pull off Chains of Others EGO and Crow’s Eye View, which allow me to cripple Abnos, i need to find as to who had gluttony skills in the first place…
I must say that…the final dungeon was way shorter in terms of story, but the enemies there were cracked, i thought i would lose for the first time, but i think that’s more likely to happen in Canto III or IIII.
After my victory, i’ve decided to do a celebratory 10 roll, and got these guys Liu Association Hong Lu and Seven South Association Heathcliff, not bad, i must say.
Canto II…was great in it’s own right, but i prefer Canto I for now.
There was…no cool boss abnormality? i saved up my EGO resources for nothing.
But atleast we did a loud mission in the end during the casino part of Canto II, i am not that good in stealth games myself, i prefer loud when it comes to games that involve stealth, so that’s cool and all.
Hong Lu was supiciously talkative during Canto II, i thought he would be the one to have a lore reveal like the rest, or maybe the writers remembered about Hong Lu and Meursault’s existence, considering both of them said…like 3 dialogue lines in Canto I, if my memory’s correct.
I am really enjoying the game as it is currently, both due to how easy the fights are currently (probably the biggest factor in how much i like a game), the story and characters, overall great.
This…took around 6 hours to beat one chapter…and Canto I only like…i forgot, somewhere between 3-4 hours, from what i’ve seen somewhere…Canto III might have less levels to beat, which means that it might be shorter, who knows, i’ll find out soon.
that’s great to hear.
The game dosen’t really feel pay to win, like alot of gacha games, but you can still pay money to make the game much easier for yourself, but i feel like it would make it…too easy.
don’t worry, the first intervald has mersault talking a lot. canto 4 also treats hong lu somewhat well (more specifically in the dungeon)
i’d also prepare yourself for canto 3, it kinda gets difficult then with nail un hammer getting involved (get blunt attacks please)
canto IV has a few, canto V has some that will definitely be a struggle to take down on the first try (god forbid you steal some hair coupons. then there’s also those three in the dungeon)
most EGO i have and Meursault’s kit is blunt-based, so it should be enough to deal with Canto 3 enemies.
A person on the discord server i was talking about told me about 4-48…they didn’t even elaborate what’s even there, likely due to spoilers reasons, which is understandable.
i keep seeing 4-48 jokes in the discord server i am everytime i mention that a fight wasn’t challenging enough.
